This guy has very unsafe practices. There are much easier and less tramatic ways to teach a horse to load into a starting gate. His main focus in his training method is how fast he can get a horse to do something, which involves much force. What about how well and refined you can get your horse? I guarentee it isnt with force. I just feel bad for the many people out there that use his methods of training and dont know any better.

@KrystalDavies Monty adapts his training methods to each horse unlike damned Parelli who uses more force than anything. Have you seen his video about Blushing ET? It took Monty a very long time to get him to even stand still in an open gate, let alone closing the doors. He's a good trainer and I feel sorry for people who use Parelli.
