  • @nmosely1988

There are a lot of Camaros in France !! It's funny because this video is a '88 vs a '78, and last week i raced my '76 vs a '86 lol

  • Almost crash into a post...!

  • both of those things are balls slow arent they... automatics are wack sorry... definetely sweet cars tho.

  • Can you be easier to talk ? I don't understand some words (I'm french).

  • Im saying the cars are nice. And they are slow. And automatic transmissions are not fun.

  • Yeah... 700r4 is really nice ! I've got a 84 Z28 with T5. It will be another style ! That's sure !! Manual is better.

  • TH-700R4 is more than nice... it really goes fast...!

  • lol GUY than LEARN ENGLISH!!!!your FUCKING FRENCH language does no one interest MILKBUDDY!

  • Other languages are more difficult and uglier than our, like german for exemple.

And thanks for the compliment !

  • looks good sound sweet

  • fuck man, take that song off.

  • Which song and why ? Try to explain yourself. Try.

  • beautiful iroc, and z28...

and even better to see people loving american cars in defferant countries....

  • Thanks !

US look, US engines are what I (we) love. Most french people doesn't really know what are US cars, excepted some keywords like : mustang, old cadillac, 25liters/100km consumption, too big, pollution, and it's not diesel ! It's funny sometimes, someone have always prejudices and told you that your car weight 5500lbs and consumes 25L/100km (10mpg).......

  • Très Beau:-)

  • That IROC must be an odd sight to the French.

  • Sometimes yes, they wonder about it., but they usually appreciate.

  • its great to see camaros in france! yall drive them like they should be driven!

  • I thought France hated everything American? Yall must get some strange looks

  • Many french aren't interested by american things (too big, too much consumption...). But everybody isn't like that. There's people like us who respect that, and really appreciate. But i must admit that there's no much american cars in France !

  • Man then your cars must draw alot of attention. I cant imagine if I drove my camaro over there.

Are parts hard for you to get?

  • An attention, yes, especially about rust ! Mechanics is rather simple to maintain. We can find rare shops for parts, but many owners directly order in USA via the web, it's cheaper and easier (like summitracing, rockauto, classic, and ebay of course). But american cars owners are minority in France.

  • You've got several choices !

Change you ratio (if you want only speed), your camshaft, headers, heads...

  • How did you purchase those car?

Are there dealerships, for new & used cars, in France that sell Camaros?

    Did you import the cars?

Here in America, there are a trillion non-US-made cars, yet, it's odd to the American eye to see an American car in Europe. (Yet, we love to see it)

Is it difficult or expensive to buy parts for Camaros in France?

Do salvage / junk yards in France sell Camaro parts?

Check out the 1980 Z28 I just bought.

  • I've answered you by mail box (on youtube), because too long !

  • it should be a 3.42 B.W. in the iroc. not 2.77....?

  • No. In 1988, the 350 have only a 2.77 B.W., or a 3.27 GM with G92 option.

  • Nice video. I have the opt. G92 3:27 Borg Warner gears on my 88 IROC.

  • The posi-traction (limited-slip) rear ends never came with 2.77's in third gen camaros. They were either 3.27 or 3.42 with posi, or 2.77 open. For the 2nd gen camaro that may be another story tho... My 86 IROC came with 2.77 open. I swaped it out for 3.73's with a eatno posi carrier and trust me it makes a big difference!

  • actually they did. 2.77's became standard in 88'. (borg warner) the g92 package came with the 3.27s which i have in my 87' iroc. g92 was standard in 87 but had to be specified starting in 88'.

  • your right. but the 3.27s were also B.W.

  • @mancamaroZ28 the 3.27 was B.W. as well. 3.27 is not a gm axle ratio.

  • 2.77 was standard. 3.27's came in the 350 tpi if specified. 3.45's was the performance axle in the 305/5 speeds.

  • incorrect....idk where your getting your info. 2.77 isnt even a gm ratio? nor is 3.27 or 3.45? what? 2.73's 3.08's (mainly v6's) and 3.42's were the ratios for standard and bw.

  • @cam92rss i have 3.27s in my 87 iroc. Borg Warner axle.

  • For the 350ci in 1988, the ratio is 2.77 BW, and 3.27 GM with G92 option).

  • In 1988, the axle ratio for 350ci (not 305) is 2.77 Borg Wagner without G92 option.

  • @cam92rss You should do some research before you post stupid shit. 2.77 is a ratio and so is 3:45. Do your homework!

  • @cam92rss You are incorrect. There was a Borg Warner 9 bolt rear end with different gear ratios: 2.77, 3.08, 3.27, 3.45, 3.70. There are also some Dana rear ends that were made, but they are even rarer than the 9 bolts. I can tell you where I got my info: thirdgen.org and I have a 9 bolt 3.27 posi in my camaro.

  • Nice video i have an 88 iroc i'm fixing up

  • the second gen was cool just slow

  • same interior in my 74 lt

  • The interior comes from a 74 LT !

  • good choice

    hahaha

  • 3rd gen rules

  • not a fan of the turdgen, but the 2nd gen is hawt ;]
