i remember this day. i was in my home watching TV when the tornado warning came on TV saying there was a funnel cloud going up and down. i then went outside to see that funnel cloud was a mile or so from the ground! i freaked out.

Wow awsome footage! my grandparents live just up the street from you. i went up on that hill a couple weeks after, but didnt see any damage. just some yucca plants tossed around.
I used to live in Parker but now I live in Eugene Oregon....where did this touch down at and where was the path of distruction? where are these houses in this particular video...this looks like it could be the Meadows in castle rock or perhaps those houses near Jordan rd and lincoln?? any ideas?
I live in Parker so prehaps I can help. The first tornado was spotted two miles northeast of Castle Rock. Second tornado was six miles northeast of Parker, near the Aurora Reservoir. The third tornado was two miles west of Castle Rock. Also there are weirdly no tornado sirens in Parker, I did hear though the ones in Aurora went off when the tornado touched down there. Yeah hope this helps
no kidding...2 miles west of castle rock could have easily put #3 in the meadows...and 2.5 miles NE of castle rock would have put #2 somewhere on crowfoot rd between castle rock and parker...wow!!!!

most people outside of colorado wouldn't think tornadoes happen in colorado because of the mountains. but nearly half of the state is flat plains
