I forgot all about Samanthas dad running over and killing her until I saw it again on here. It sucks both of them are gone. I liked Sydney a lot. i know she didnt always make the best decisions but, she did what had to do to survive and I can relate.

You got to hand it to "Melrose Place". It was the ultimate "guilty pleasure" regarding 90's television. Unapologetically trashy and over the top, here was a series where almost all the characters lied, slept, and romanced each other (except for poor old Matt who was pretty much on the sidelines when it came to bedroom antics).....

And to come up with a storyline where a character gets married and dies in dramatic fashion (in her wedding dress no less) is pure soap opera glory....

Sydney was one of my fav characters on melrose place. i was so upset when she died :(

The videos missed two things and they are when Sydeny was in cahoots with Traci Lords in season 3 I think and when some crazy guy kidnaps her and she runs off to Las Vegas. Oh and also when she helps film a tape in season two of Jane's then Boyfriend, Steve, with a hooker.

By season 5 Michael had moved on from Sydney and I don't recall thses seasons as much.

and this season was when Jamie Luner, Kelly Rutherford and Lisa Rinna were on the show. None of which had much to do with Sydney.
