  • @mrboverbro yeah my set would definitely be good for playing metal. i like to tune my drums low so i get a deep, dark, and full sound. it really depends on the drumheads you use. if you're looking for a metal sound for your kit i'd recommend for toms either the aquarian performance 2's (what i have), remo emperors, or remo pinstripes.

  • @apeirce12 I just put Evans EC2 on my 12" and 14" and a G2 on my 16 " tom and I honestly feel like that is the best combination for this set! You can shape any sound youre looking for, they hold tune perfectly, and they sing without any over tones. The next time you put new heads on seriously try that combination I think youll like it.
