  • Nicely done. A very good project.

  • Beautiful job amir

  • nicest 240 i've ever seen, period.

  • 260, my bad. basically the came car though

  • not basicaly the same car. noob

    tail lights

    bumpers

    motor

    260 was available as a 2+2

    ect

  • And yet its still basically the same.

  • thank you, deanfmiller is an ass.

  • there is a significant weight difference between early 240zs and 260zs/280zs. about 200-350 pounds, length, height are different as well. they do look very similar though. oh and of course engine displacement sizes but im sure you know that. i really like the 260zs dash.

  • Chassis dimensions are the same however. The major difference from the 260 and 240 are the extended frame rails in the 260, giving it a bit more chassis rigidity. A nice little perk, but there are plenty of aftermarket methods or custom methods to get the 240 to the same/better rigiity and still be lighter.

The length/height are only different because of the bumper bars for crash standards, and the suspension is higher. The dimensions of the car are still the same otherwise (Yes this is old)

  • Wow, just found all of this. This is my car, unfortunately I sold it about a year ago to focus on racing in a more appropriate car for the classes.

As to how much - you don't want to know! Probably $50k at least was put into this car.

  • Fcking nuts!.... I have a gt35r sr20 Datsun 510 project

  • Nicely edited video mate, makes me want to go out and buy one. But they are incredibly rare here in Aus. :( So my Z31 will have to do for now. :P

  • Beautiful car. Looks like fun power.

  • wat type of rims are those

  • CCW Wheels

  • CCW Classics to be exact.

  • what is the name of the song at the beginning of this video

  • Awesome car. Awesome vid. Nice work!

  • turns into a mid engine car because the SR sits so far back in the engune bay?..um , no. it doesnt.

  • ur an idiot if the motor is so far back from the front then it shift the weight twords the back more making it a mid engine jackass

  • Always fun replying to posts from 4 months ago- But yes, as mentioned if the engine is between the center of the front and rear wheels, its considered mid engine. It doesnt -have- to be behind the driver.

  • WOW... I love nissans and this is just one great shining example as to why :) Awesome work, one e-pat on the back for you.

  • Nice car and production Amir. What you gonna build next? A Jaguar with a Detroit diesel? ;-)

  • Thats was a beautiful piece of work. Very informative information and a great car. You edited the whole thing very nicely, great work man!

  • Dash looks really crap Imo, but the rest in sublime.

  • nice car

  • I want to have sex with his car... Infact... I'll buy it from you right now!

  • Lovely

  • 240z sucks!

  • Well, I'm not Amir, this isnt my car. And power steering would make the car less sharp and responsive, and would be more sluggish and slow.

  • @6i9 You have obviously never driven a z. Or a car without power steering. The car is much more responsive, you can actually feel out the steering.

  • @moderns30 LOL, are you saying that cars with power steering are better for the track?

  • @wajalama I said that a car without power steering is much MORE responsive. I feel like cars without power steering are much better for racing. I guess it depends on the racing.

  • @moderns30 Ah, then in that case, I agree with you :)

I think the guy that posted this video was also saying that cars with no power steering respond better, you just misread his comment lol

  • @wajalama Yes sir I think you are correct, I just re-read that. My mistake. Sorry about that.

  • Awesome car. Are you working on a Power steering solution? that'd make it quite a bit quicker around a circuit, if that's what youre into. :) Beautiful work, man.

  • Japanese looks, Japanese engine, and British engineering, brilliant :D

  • nice ride. good weight. enjoy.

  • its nice
