You should experiment and introduce obstacles mid video. Like introduce a stick and see how it reacts / grows and moves around it.

I've been thinking about doing just that. The Aerogarden doesn't specify to supply a structure for the plants to grow on - perhaps because they will grow too high and get into the light. So maybe a horizontal structure.
