In dx9 it would still rape my computer in its ass aaaaall night long man. And then the next morning my computor would wake up in a street without it's shell on and be complety and utterly violated. RAPED.
it's an awesome game! i can run it on high ( shaders - medium. physics, texture, game effects, post processig are set to very high(by editing confing files), and i get about 20 fps on my PC! its amd athlon 4200+, 2 gig ram, and GF8500GT ), my Video card memory, and core clock are OC by more than 50%,and that all with stock cooler, and i get 76 C.
More than 50% overclock on VGA? Please go away, 50% is not to be confused with 50mhz, if you're able to overclock 50% that means you'll end up with well over 600/1200 which is not going to work, and your card will barely render the game at 20FPS on High settings even considering the low specs and extremely limite memory interface.
I have to laugh at all the guys with average systems running this beast talking about pop-up and bad graphics, etc. They are completely clueless. Get a core 2 coupled with at least a 8800 and you will be amazed.
I run Crysis with one core (2 year old PC) with my x1900xt 512 mb DDR 3 and only 1 gig of ram. The game run smooth for me even with max setting like Ghazi except no shadow and post process?
The only time I ever get some slow down are when I turn Frap on to show off my skill/video
click on my name to see some of my gameplay video. Loading other video to a better host like GT now. kekekee
Crysis has no Physics in Multiplayer. There's 24/7-all-empty "DX10" servers nobody is playing on which is exclusive to Windows Vista players, which does not excist. XP and Vista is running the same game, even visually, just add a 4 instead of a 3 in the game .ini and you got "DX10", with exception for multiplayer servers athuentications which detects your OS as it should. No wonder why nobody is buying Crysis.
can you destroy ground or stones or something like that?????

I liked how I was watching this and watching a advert preventing deforestation by the WWF.

Crysis looks so bad on low resolution YouTube videos.
However, it looks pretty much as good in dx9 as it does in dx10.

Why are you using the silencer? didn't you want the trees to hear you comming? LOL.
What did you use to capture this video? I can play the game @1024x768 all very high with 30-50FPS but if I use fraps I get awful stuttering...

He was using Fraps as well.

The YouTube version looks horrible, so if you want the high quality version of the video, click the 'more info' link in the 'About this video' box.

I must say though, even on low it looks amazing. The explosion effects are sweet.

The demo was ok, I had to run it on low though (7600gt). I spent most the time running round punching trees.

interestingly enough we all know it but money doesn't grow on trees.

True, but did you read what I wrote?? I am referring to people complaining about the demo's graphics when they are using subpar systems...

Dude, are you complaining about its graphics?? Read the entire thing before making a reply. Thanks!

nop, was just talking about my 1 core PC still can handle Crysis at max setting without any side effects. This including eyes candy graphic.
You don't have to own a duo core to run crysis, check my video and see for yourself.

512 mb and 2 year old pc? that means u have xp right? i tought this was only for vista, was it?
no2475 4 years ago
vista for better physic in mulitplayer. xp works the same in single player.
Once i add a few more gigs of ram and upgrade to vista prem, my pc will be reborn again. : D
