Her natural hair colour was dark brown until she died it auburn or dark red in her later years.

According to 2 respected bios this most talented chanteuse actually wore a pale blue satin gown in one of her latter appeareances! (also the color of her wedding outfit) when she married last Theo Sarapo (Theophanis Lamboukas) - many yrs her junior, last husband & totally devoted to Piaf!
