  • Not sure about the location in the first minute of the film - Sucha Beskidzka?

    1:15 - Pyskowice: Tr203, Ty23, Ty45.

  • +5!!!!!!

  • Pretty high amount of "Kriegsloks" in your PKP videos as far as I can judge it (I´m no expert).

    5*****!

  • Thats because there were a high number of them still in service on the PKP at that time. In fact I seem to recall that more were built based on the same design after the war. There's one over here on the Nene Valley Railway but sadly it hasnt been used for a few years.

  • Good morning!

Interesting. I didn´t knew, that they were still build after the war.

Is the Nene valley loco broken?

  • I think it's boiler insurance certificate expired and then it's owner put it up for sale but I dont think anyone has bought it yet.

  • Thanks for this information.

  • Yep,partially they were build after the war by Poles, using left elements in former German factories. However that was only about 300 locs. Many of them all, were used till late 80s.Polish afterwar type (Ty45) was partially based on Kriegslog design and build in amount of allmost 400.

  • Ty45 was based at polish Ty37.
