Apricot scrub has crushed apricot pit. Your derm was right that that the tiny little granules have sharp edges and you get tons on tiny cuts on your skin. Thats why it makes it red and people that are prone to breakouts should not use it because those cuts can get infected and cause more acne. The biore strips are not good and what you see on the strip is the glue that they put in it. Its a trick. Best for black heads is Paula Begoun 2% salicilic Acid liquid or Retin A if u can take the redness

I am late watching this video, thought I would share my two cents. Actually, toning is a very important step to skin care. As you are cleansing you skin, you are applying chemicals to your face, that open your pores,which is what they are designed to do, the toning step, yes deep cleanses your skin, but also closes your pores, so that when you moisturize,you not putting possible oily products on open pores. I am a cosmotologist and skin care rep, if you were wondering where I got this info.

Have you ever READ the back of that Apricot scrub? IT TELLS YOU WHAT'S IN IT LOL! And it does scratch your skin because it's made from the Apricot pips/seeds. It's not good for your skin at all and has even been taken off shelves in some countries (Like France who know all about skin care and Japan)...so you should never use it! Any scrub made from pips, seeds, sands or foods is bad for you! Facial scrubs should become smooth on contact so you can't feel the particals!

About masks...one should use it ACCORDING TO SKIN TYPE. If a person has oily skin, and uses a moisturizing mask, that person WILL have breakouts.

Hello, I think that you have great information regarding skin care, and I like how you told people not to expect fast results. One think about the apricot scrubber is that I have actual hear that it is not very good becuase the apricots are sharp and not round like the jojoba beads which I heard were better. A skin care that I love right now is Cosmetix which is wonderful but pricey.

just a small tip.. so u dont struggle telling the difference from the cedafil bottles and always having to read which bottle is which what you can simply do is wrap a rubberband on one of them or a bow or mark it with a permanent marker etc!!... :) hope that helps!! <3

I used it and it took a while to start doing anything, then it starts to work but in a short bit of time your it seems your skin becomes imune (spelling) to it... it worked for like 2 or 3 weeks after using it for a while, it lasted longer for my brother but it tends to stop working quickly. I ended up stopping the system and stopped ordering it

that st.ives apricot scrub is horrible for your skin they were not lying to you. i think the little granuals are ground up walnut shell, dont use it. and toner is important to balance out your skin and pick up anything your cleanser may have left behind. try using all natural products, you can even make your own. green tea makes a great toner.
