  • and thatss where all the characters pop up from the underground

  • how is an abulance gonna get through all those people? they have to go through the ground ahah

  • Wow amazing! I hear there is a hospital and a police station and much much down there too.

  • Lol disneys all 4 savin the planet but to make disney world the drained a lagoon and tore down a forrest lol

  • Walter Disney made the tunnels underground cuz he didnt like the employees being exposed and late because they cant get through the park

  • There's an underground "city" under universal. My uncle had a heart attack and they rushed him to a hospital type thing underground with roads and everything.

  • I've heard that the tunnel is used for the workers. If the characters want to get to one place without being seen, they use the tunnel.

  • Underneath,With Suicide mouse.

  • i use to work at disneyland and WE dont have the tunnel

  • @tsidow2008 this is disney world

  • Orange County, FL Sheriffs Office deputies are stationed in these tunnels, and plainclothes sheriff's deputies are on the street level among all the tourists. There is no "Disney Police"..its Orange County S.O. underground in the tunnels.

  • @StoneCold75

Creepy, why are they working a private park? Get out on the street and stop some crimes, make disney hire their own thugs.

  • @Jcolinsol Disney does hire the sheriff's office deputies that are OFF DUTY to come patrol the park for overtime..since no cops get rich being cops, its a win win situation..and I dont like animals at my vacation resorts..I welcome them there..

  • @StoneCold75

Ah, interesting explanation. Cops do make a ton of money though, the grunts make like $20,000 more than I ever did at my highest paying job. And you usually see 'em with some big bourgie suburban house with spoiled kids.

  • @Jcolinsol I dont know what you do, but in Metro Las Vegas the average cop with 5 years on makes 43,500. So maybey you worked at McDonalds or something I dont know. The fact is, if you want to risk your life for 43,500 or even 80,000 if you make Lieutenant rank you deserve it...Sounds like you have an axe to grind against cops so whatever

  • @StoneCold75

Yeah, 43,000 dollars is quite a bit more than I ever made working in the entertainment industry.

Yeah, I kind of have an axe to grind about cops, much as I have an axe to grind about mafiosos. Same line of work, if you get my drift.

  • @Jcolinsol You must have not been very entertaining then :) just kidding...well good luck on your axe

  • @StoneCold75

Stone cold is right. y tu.

  • Fact. I've seen them.

  • imagineer? more like imaginqueer, Gary.

  • They also have a "secret" police station and interrogation room. We got in trouble for telling a lady not to cut in line and she turned the story around and reported us saying we called her a bitch and pushed her children. That happened in Animal Kingdom, we got kicked out for nothing we did they said it was to "keep the peace" and the lady got to stay in the park. That pretty much ruined the magic of Disney World for me.

  • Back when my high school went to Disney, we got the chance to see the backstage part of the parks. When our bus was driving back there, I know I saw an entrance to one of the tunnels.

  • WHERES WALT DISNEYS HEAD????

  • Don't know anything about Florida but the facility in California certainly has plenty of tunnels.

  • im99 percent sure when i was a kid i saw a special on tv showing the underground tunnels for like the cast and crew to move around the park easily, i didnt know it was considered a myth now?

  • Actually, if you watch the Travel Channel they do a thing on disney every now and then, if you wantch it you will see that theres actually an underground network, well it isnt really underground, Disneyworld like mainstreet is actually the second level. True shit, go watch Travel Channel.

  • OMG HOW MUCH FLUFF CAN THERE POSSIBLY BE?

  • its 3 in the morning... how did i end up here?

  • @JAMxSkalla16 no1 cares

  • @grobbyman fuck you you faggot fucking pussy ill rip out your fucking intestines and feed them to midgets

  • @JAMxSkalla16 no1 cares

  • @inxyTrolls thank you for informing me, but grobbyman already told me that

  • @JAMxSkalla16 no1 cares

  • Cool never knew it was a myth but its cool getting a behind the scenes look.

Personly i thought it was controlled seprately in towers.

Like in its a small world you know that tower were they controll the boats,

was also the place were they controll the anamatronics for that ride.

  • This is cool!! I guess DISNEYLAND is magical after all lol!!! =)

  • built on Indigenous peoples land: Native Americans. God will nuke USA to Hell.

  • This is NOT a myth. My dad runs a huge Danish company, and last year he went to the states, where he got a tour of the underground tunnels that are running under Disney World, as a part of a special training program. I never quite understood it, he just told me about it, and I just heard now that this is supossedly a myth. Well I can here by confirm it is not.

  • The best macaroni and cheese ever!!!! in the tunnel under the Magic Kingdom the mac and cheese is gourmet!

  • Very informative

  • Start watching at 4:00

  • tunnels for the employees to get around

  • thats where the workers live...ive worked there

  • FACT

  • ummmmm. they havve tours of it on rare occasions. it is matainence tunnels.

  • UNDERGROUND PARK!!!!! O MY GOD ITS PROBABLY THE DUMBEST ANSWER IN THE VIDEO

  • Why the hell does your video say "Dispelling the myth" ?

  • HAHA yeah ts fun down there :) Lots of stuff for us to do and plenty of room for the cast to get around and do their jobs :) ODF rocks !

  • WOW!!! ZOWIE!!!!

  • They should have done a Fact or Fiction about Walt Disney being Frozen and located below the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.

  • @stivking I heard about him being frozen but not being put beneath the pirates of the caribbean ride

  • we all knew it existed its not like this was surprising

  • there are tunnels in Disney Land..they're just utility though.....used for costumed cast members to walk around the park, to move food trash and merchandise, and it serves as a break room for the cast members.....

  • Walt Disney made the tunnels under Walt Disney World so that you don't ruin the illusion. i.e. A Frontierland pioneer in Tomorrowland.

  • I want to work there!!

  • ive been underground, its actully there, and its huge! its where all of the food and stuff comes in and all of the disney charecters use it to get around

  • my friends went down there, they got interrogated for doing something bad on a ride

  • I've been in the tunnels and they're pretty cool.

  • lol. the tunnels. with the mouse-ateria (it's really called that) with a subway that makes the girls bathroom smell like bread, lol. it's one big circle so you can't get lost - it'll just take you longer. bah.

  • I too have been in the tunnels when I worked there for a short time. There's no railroad but plenty of tunnels. It's actually more like a giant basement with halls connecting the different sections. Some areas are busy, some are empty most of the time. You could get some serious exercise if you walked through the entire complex. And yes, they left a lot out of the video because there's "disney magic" going on down there. I signed an NDA when I worked there and still honor it.

  • is walt disney down there, i heard a rumor that he was chrogenically frozen under the theme park

  • No, Walt Disney isn't down there. He's long dead and won't be coming back unfortunately.

  • you watch to much Robot Chicken

  • i dont know anyting about that show. plus i dont even get CN/Adult Swim

  • Sounds to me like there is a lot you don't know anything about!

btw - I shot a porno with your mom down there

  • sounds like to me all you do is talk shit...

  • yup

  • @dasaxophonist this is impossible disney was cremated and chryogenics were not invented until one month after disneys death. sorry :(

  • @lloydblack999 Yeah, right (about the NDA that you allegedly still honor!!) I worked at WDW forjust over 2 years and the only "magic" I know of down there is some kinky behaviors between consenting adults from time to time!

  • @msk7046 hahaha keepin it real

  • i have been in the utilidor too t

  • Lmfao, my science teacher said that there was a 'Underground Disney Railroad' and it was for the mascots or whatever &&she use to be one &&under there it was where the mascots went to get high/do drugs &&have sex xD

  • why would they pick this man with that severe speech impediment to host thisss?

  • there truly is A TON of decorations for christmas, i went there a few weeks ago for a band trip to march in the thanksgiving parade. i got to go backstage in Disney!! it was sweet, lol we wernt allowed to have cameras backstage XD, its cause they could have a broken figure of a Disney charctor, and if we were to post it on the internet Disney would lose some of its Magic.

  • they just didnt want somethings to get out, i used a very specific example about the broken figure, but it could be anything that would help lose some of the Disney Magic

  • First of all, high five for marching band

I went Dec. 14-24 in '06 and loved the christmas decorations. It kinda ruined everything for me though because since then, nothing has even come close to the job disney did with decorating.

  • yea it really is true, my dad has actually been in there, its so that it all seems truly like magic. and the disney castle? behind it are the phone lines and the swhichboard lol, plus the buildings on Main Street really are offices, not decorations

  • Right, so it's in fact not a myth...there are tunnels...and here they are...no need to use the word 'myth' at all!

  • "All the Christmas decorations, they had to put them somewhere!" Haha, I love that answer!

  • I was in Disney World Florida last year, and a staff member told me that there was a secret underground school for new employees.

  • You work in a Casino it is called The Back Of The House. In this case Under The House... LOL

  • As a past cast member, they are used just as the video states...very cool area in those tunnels,.

  • Why on earth aren't you still working there? That sounds like so much freakin fun!

  • there r tunnels is they r for cast members only and they r for us to be able to have our breaks and listen to our ipods and talk on our cell phones cause belive it or not disney guest we do have rules!!

  • yes demand free parking alot at disney

  • for one of the disney tours to go down there you have to pay for like 90 dollars and you have to be 18 or older!

  • im flying down for the weekend, can' t wait!

  • Seriously! i'm a cast member and there is a underground tunnel. but its where cast member can get there work needs and travel easy without all the guest on stage. it's nothing that serious. oh and that's where they keep the floats too.

  • Why the -1 on XxXavierXx70 comment, its true and as an ex-employee its no secret at all. If for example you are a cast member in TL and are located at the employee entrance you take the tunnels so the guests dont see you, otherwise you have to remove your costume/uniform and put it back on at your work station.

  • Of Course its Real. Who would make it up?

  • there real my aunt used to work there

  • The underground tunnels are underneath the castle/main street usa in Magic Kingdom. The park was effectively built on top of the tunnels which is why everything from the lake to the castle kinda slopes uphill. I know this for a fact as I have been in the tunnels on a disney tour.

  • DISNEY: number one producer of MK Ultra Monarch Slave Programming features in the world...Pls Google Fritz Springmeier / Cisco Wheeler also 2 Mind Control Survivors - Cathy Obrien, Brice Taylor...US Gov't creating Human Robots since 1950s. Alot of ur favorite stars ar Monarch Slaves. THIS MUST BE EXPOSED!

  • intheintheknow7: I meant to hit thumbs up. I can only HOPE that what they say is not true.

  • last time i was in disney world, we got stuck on big thunder mountain (right before the highest drop) and they had to come help us off the train, they then took us through a series of doors and staircases, and when we came out we were by pirates of the caribbean, then they gave us fastpasses for spalsh mountain

  • walt was such a good man.

  • He didn't want black people to be able to get into the park....therefore, I am forced to agree with you, he was a great man =)

  • thats messed up.

  • Comment removed

  • well not all of them

  • @winngedgirl what you be saying?

  • Disney land's underground parts are eight and a half feet above ground so no it's a myth.

  • it's Walt Disney World and they are actually 14 ft above ground.

  • the university course...for criminal justice...a teacher stated that there is a "underground city" if something was to happen in the world there would be enough room for like ALOT of people and they have enough food and everything eles needed...

  • How interesting. Good to know. Thanks!

  • Sorry to the guy who posted this but it is definitely not a myth.I have an original commemorative Walt Disney World brochure from 1971 opening of the park and it says in there that the land for Magic Kingdom was "built up by as much as 14ft in many areas of the theme park". The brochure says that there is a bustling world of utility conduits and corridors, break areas and wardrobe. Walt did not want Tomorrowland characters having to walk down mainstreet or Fantasy Land to get places.

  • there is a backstage area, but its not underground.

  • Yep. One of the tours is the Rail Road One. Its cool

  • You have to conceal the tech somewhere. The electric parade appears from a colorful garage-type prop. It's all underground...Really.

  • this is not xwishes but her mom i worked for the magic kingdom in orlando for 2 years, there are tunnels under u, we get in our costumes and walk to our post,we eat lunch there, it is very large down there,a whole new world where you see how the magic is done, once you see that disney has no magic anymore,it is where we take medics to scenes, shoplifters to jail, oh yes we have undercover cops following people camera and all

  • i have know there a underground city upon disney , the top is a distraction for people but the bottom is world of secret

  • is disneyland have tunnel to

  • when i was about 13 I thought that the disney floor seemed a little 'hallow' like an apartment floor or something, only thicker and when I asked my friend about it (he works there) he told me that there are in fact tunnels under it and showed me pictures. I figured that was about right since I don't think cast members would want to weave through a bunch of people, otherwise they'd always be late to their posts! lol

  • dude thats cool cuz iv been to disney world two or three times and i never even thought about a tunnle under me

  • Not to quibble, but you're not "Dispelling the myth" since it's actually true...in fact, I believe all of the little promos they made for this series are true...the basketball court in the Matterhorn and something else I don't remember.

  • the Bball court myth is ture

  • Right, that's what I said...that all of them were true, including the basketball court and the underground tunnels...therefore not dispelling the myth but confirming.

  • Ive know about the Underground tunnels.

  • No Im afraid prbebley something much more sinister I suggest do your research into MK/ Ultra Hollywood and mindcontrol My god this is shocking!

  • it's true i know someone who works in disney!!!

  • Yup disneyland has an underground we got in trouble for grad nite and our teacher had to come to get us in the underground tunnel.

  • For Disneyland in Anaheim CA there is a underground world that you enter at the Castle. I know someone that has been down in it.

  • definitely not at Disneyland, the tunnels are ONLY at the Magic Kingdom in Disney World. Nothing special though.

  • as a cast member i think this is quite funny... you dont see anything.

  • that sux i thought it was going to be like a REAL city

  • i cant believe peopledidnt know that. Its all over the travel channel!

  • Notice that next time when you are on the monerail that it goes up a big hill before you get to magic kingdom, when you are walking to cinderella castle you ar 16ft above the ground!

  • "oooooooooooooh..yeeeeeeaaaaaaahhhhh!"

omg that was so annoying fuckin yank ugh,

  • some of the families are so american. so funny.

  • what an amazing park

  • There is a tour called "Keys of the Kingdom" where a cast member takes you on a half day tour, you get to go back stage and they take u into the tunnels. This is how all the cast members get to their "lands" you wouldnt want to see a skipper or pirate in Tomorrowland. It ruins the magic.. Thats where all the wardrobe, locker rooms, cafeterias, and a lot of offices..the park is considered the second story of Disney World...I used to work there...

  • i want to go on that tour bu tim not old enough!!!!

i will do wen i go back next year tho!!!

  • Its actually a lot of fun I didnt go on it myself, but I worked at the Jungle Cruise and they took the tour to that ride and instead of the Skipper doing their spiel, your tour guide talks about the ride and how everything works.. I knew all that info, but it was cool to hear it from someone else

  • disney college program?

  • Im currently learning about how to sign up for that!

  • im working at disney starting next week!

  • u must make a video in the under ground tunnels!!

  • cm's can't. We can get fired for doing that.

  • you cant. no cameras of any form are allowed backstage. My school band had to go back stage in order to get on the rising stage thats in cosmic ray's cafe in tomorrowland. There are tunnels i can assure u. They are called utilidors. or something like that. It looks like a basement kinda lol its very busy down there tho

  • im going there next week to work...

  • That is sooo cool! Im really envious ! do you know if you need to be older than a freshman in college to do the program, or can you do it any year?

  • no u just have to be 18 and over. send me a msg if u want me to send info.... u can choose summer program, college program 6 months or a cultural rep...

  • Get to the point, already.

We're here to talk about the disney tunnels. For it is the disney tunnels are why we are here. We are all interested in seeing the disney tunnels, for it is the disney tunnels we want to see. Without further ado, I bring you the disney tunnels. Oh the suspense of seeing the disney tunnels is why I am so excited.

    Here they are.

  • I'm a resident of Orlando and a native born Floridian to boot. You all have no idea how many people don't realize they're actually walking on the second floor of Walt Disney World. The Utilidoors are actually the ground (first) floor. As you heard in the video, the chief reason for that is because our water table in Florida is very close to the surface.

  • The "real" Disney World is not underground, but yes there are areas which are underground which are used by employees to transport/store goods and to gain access for maintenance - No it is not an underground "park."

  • In Other words, The Magic Kingdom is Sitting on top of a pile of mud! LOL!

  • if anyone wants to actually visit the utildors, u just have to go on the keys to the kingdom tour ... if ur at mk, just go to guest relations to make ur reservation

  • yes it was at disneyland. it was all over

    the news.

  • They have Disney on demand now!

no fair, my dad doesn't want to get on demand

I have to convince him to get it so I can watch Disney 24/7!!

  • Dude the veido was great but you should get some more Fact on Fic. on YouTube

  • How in the world can they even pretend that the tunnels might be a myth? The utilidors were built 1st, on ground level, and then the MK was built over them. I thought that was common knowledge.

  • watch behind the scenes. they go throuhg them

  • yeah, same here.

I wonder if everyone knows about the Subway down there?

  • why do they say its like a series .. when theres 2 episides .. BOOO ~!

  • Ole Gary the Fairy

  • Dude...Did this guy BURP at the beginning of this video? That was a LOUD BELCH and that my friend is....Disney FACT!

    LoL

  • That Gary dude they interviewed is quite the flamer!

  • i work for disney and i can 10000% tell you that yes there is really a tunnel under the kingdom :D

  • how is this "dispelling' a myth, when it isn't actually a myth? the tunnels are no secret...no one ever denied them...especially considering they hold "backstage" tours that go through them

  • That is so true...

  • u might want 2 reupload it cuz after like 7 min it gets really wierd

  • "the nerve center for the Magic Kingdom!" right... crack much?

  • i have thi son my DVR!

  • This video stinks, ran through all the minutes, and saw nothing, and heard nothing, and I was interested in this.

  • so what if some freak grabs my kid and takes him thru tunnels to the parking garage for employees? call me parinoid....oh no way that could NEVER happen. right? RIGHT?

  • this is soooo cool i cant believe its like that

  • So really, If an attraction fell, Hundreds of people would die under you? D:

  • thats heavy

  • I think this is cool. We went to Disney about 3 weeks ago and my dad told us about this. This means you are really above people that are walking under the park!

  • Man, why don't they play THIS stuff on The Disney Channel at night instead of that Hanna Montanna crap?

  • so true! this is what i want to know, not about her.

this show is amazing, id tune in every single night to watch it if it was on disneychannel!!

  • its on journey TV on Demand with time warner, o belive 149 or something///

  • This is no myth by any means. It is a well known fact among Disney enthusiasts, and you can also pay and get a tour of the Utilador if you would like. I have been in there myself for a performance a few years back and it is actually pretty cool.

  • still wouldn't there be parts of the utilidors that run under the various (artificial) bodies of water in the park? like the rivers and lakes? I always wondered that.

and that area is about 90 ft. above sea level--I think the water table isn't the problem, it's more because the sandy soil here isn't stable/favorable for supporting underground structures.

  • wtf is with the sound

  • this is at disneyworld, right? how does it work in disneyland, is it the same?

  • this is just for Disney World there are no utilidors at Disneyland because they didn't think of the idea until Disney World and the land lay out in California isn't/wasn't the same as in Florida
