TVS Continuity & Adverts - 9th August 1984

At the start it must be a TVS trailer rather than an ITV one, because The Nanny wasn't networked - Friday night films were shown regionally well into the 90s.

The National brand - whose slogan 'The Getaway People' gave its name to episodes of both 'The Sixties' and 'Washes Whiter', so symbolic is it of the era's desire to escape the old order - was surely being phased out by 1984.

Pity both these recordings cut off, though I think TVS never plugged ILR at closedown (unlike some other regions).
