Silver doesn't suck, but the gameplay he was given in '06 is what made him a slightly bad character.

ANd his role and character...making him someone who nearly pulverized and bloodied a watered down, weakened, SOnic (WHo was so badly toned down{i wont get into THAT} he couldn't use his full speed, because if he wasnt' watered down, he would have beaten Silver before silver could even think), and SEGA gave him an immature mood, making him with a childish appearance...all of this sums up to why he didn't become the next SHadow..( good thing SHadow wasn't too watered down, so he could beat silver)
