Billy Satellite was a fantastic band in the '80's and have a new album coming out in about a month from now. They have changed the name of the band to "Zen Road Pilots". the lead singer Monty Byrom and myself have written 2-songs on the new album: "What a Blind Man Can See" and "The Possibilities for Joy".
Other songs from Billy Satellite that I could recommend would be "I Wanna Go Back", which was later covered by Eddie Money, and "You and Me in the Night".
I had never heard of Billy satellite. This is an excellent song. What other songs from this group could you recommend? (First heard this on Munich hardest hits)
I DONT KNOW IF ITS OKAY TO POST THE LINK HERE, IF ITS NOT, JUST DELETE IT...THANK YOU! THE VIDEO IS MONTY BYROM AND FEE FALLETTI OF THE NOW NAMED: ZEN ROAD PILOTS. IM GOING TO SEE THEM THIS WEEKEND ALSO...GREAT GUYS, LOTS OF FUN TO CHILL WITH!
GO TO MU USER CHANNEL TO FIND THE VIDEO, IT WONT LET ME DROP THE URL HERE, SRY
@eloypath Watch for them, they are playin' again, Monty just got back from a recording session, they are doing a song that me and Monty and Beth Hart wrote, check out beth hart's song "monkey back" really incredible song...we did't write that one but it's really good, called blind man.
ATTN ALL BILLY SATTELLITE FANS.. THEY ARE MAKIN A COME BACK. CHECK THEM OUT ON FACEBOOK ZEN ROAD PILOTS. ITS ROCKIN JUST AS HARD IF NOT HARDER THEN THE ORIGINAL. THEY BROUGHT THE HOUSE DOWN AT A LOCAL SHOW LAST NIGHT . LOOK FOR EN THEY ARE ABOUT TO BE BIG AGAIN
Man, it's good to hear this song again after all these years - thanks for posting! They were my first-ever concert in Fresno, California, back in '84 I think. They supported Missing Persons, but Billy killed them! I only wanted to see Satellite anyway. Classic track, this.
I used to go to see these guys play every chance I could back in 1981 and 82 when I was in the Navy. They were performing under this name back then. They used to play at a pizza joint in Alameda,CA. They rocked then and when the album came out, I turned on a lot of my friends back home in Ohio to them.
THANK YOU for being the one to post thisvideo. I have been lookng for this video ever since 1985 (or was it '84?) when I first saw it on Friday Night Videos. Actually, that was the only time it was ever played on Friday Night Videos. Wow, 25 years ago or so now. Still a great song. Thank you.
