The train kept going becuse trains are made up up hundreds of thousands of tons of steel, moving it can be hard to stop because of momentum, so anything in the way will get POWNED!
@charlieb640 sorry typo. good sized trains are thousands or several hundreds of tons. They are usually under 10,000 tons but some can be more depending on size and load and locomotive power.
@trainzrule5 That's more like it. A unit coal or grain train of say...100 cars...at 130 tons per car is going to be around 13000 tons. Up or down depending on length, car capacity, etc.
