man this comparison fits the epic fail criteria:

1-he should say zen stone PLUS (same size, has LCD)

2-you can get the wire from any chinese site or ebay dirt cheap

3-repeat button? u can press back everytime

4-zen stone is PLUS better becaus it has many other features (interface, timer, FM, Voice recorder, etc.)

don't get me wrong, I'm no apple fan, excellent audio but overpriced and undespeced, if they keep it so Android will own them soon!

i bought it on clearance for $20 or so, and also the speaker that fits it for $1 at toys r us - very nice device - good size for on the run, it came with a silicone cover and clip

Min USB are sold everywhere, come with almost every product and you can replace it very easily and heck you might have more than 2!. Apple ones are hard to find as they are special made for shuffle and i don't know if apple store sells that dock.

What im trying to say is, when Apple designs something they put time and effort into it but with other companies they just quickly whip up something... They put in as little effort as possible to save money so they can sell there products for less becoz they didnt have to pay the designer too many money..

The iPods are built for music. Apple are extremely passionate about music so much so that they brought out iTunes. Although you pay that tittle but extra to own an iPod, it's the quality that our getting.

Look at the iPod Touch and Glass. Metal/Aluminium with a gorgeous glass screen.

It's really from a person's point of view. If your gonna buy a product based on another persons idea then your an idiot.

Do you research and see which is better in comparison. Even though people say something is better than the other or that product is a peice of crap, that is not your opinion.

Always ask if there are returns, so you can return it if you don't like it overall in person.

Anyways I choose the Creative Zen Stone! That is my Opinion!

I got a zen stone 1gb as a present for christmas I am not a bit fan because its basicly a shuffle I like the be able to see what songs are coming and what ever how ever it is good and dose the job after all you just need it for music I am thinking about getting a creative zen. was looking at sansa sandisk simply because they have the memory card. I had a look around shops over here in Ireland and couldn't find many places that did them. I then found out the Creative did it.

I'm a huge Creative fan (i got the zen nano plus right now) and Zen Stone seems to kill the Shuffle,but i have to say that the (beautiful) zen is made of plastics outside, so the Shuffle is more robust (Aluminium). Therefor the Zen Stone Plus, has a little screen and radio (i always need a Radio) and it's still cheaper than Shuffle . Apple is stupid anyway, i mean you always need itunes or sth, and zens aren't that complicated...

The problem with the Zen Stone, is the format support. It doesn't even support Ogg/Vorbis, which is really weak, IMHO.

The shuffle has a built-in clip and is smaller. You can buy a clip for the stone but it is another 10 bucks. Still the stone seems like a good product, maybe it will get apple to cut prices a little.
