Hi Jerry - this is a Hanger 9 Piper. Electric motor is an AXI 4120/14 with a Castle 80 ESC, 14x7 apc e prop and 4s 3850 lipo. Radio is a DX7 Spektrum with 7 channel receiver. Surface throws were set up according to the instruction manual.
Thanks i found my instruction for my ESC, it states to put throttle stick wot then plug in esc and wait for 2 Beeps then put throttle stick down to off throttle. i will try that and hopefully it will work, thanks for your help.
Hi! on my pawnee i'm running a exceed monster power 46 and a turnigy plush 80a ESC with a 5s 4000mah lipo. with i throttlr up i get power all the way up to half stick and from there on up to wot i don't get any more power. but i feel i'mm all the way at full power at half stick. the exceed monster power 46 is the same as the e-flite power 46.

Hi Jerry - I don't know much about your ESC but it sounds like it needs to have the endpoints set. Does the ESC have programming functions?

yes it does have programming, but not sure about end points

Hi Jerry - the correct end points will solve the issue of being at full throttle when you're at half stick.

Hi Jerry - Flaps on a DX7 are very easy. I use the three position switch. Although flaps are really necessary with this model.

Hi Jerry - I'm using an AXI 4120 on a 4s TP 3850mah turning a 14x7 APC electric prop. I'm using a DX7 2.4 g. Set up includes flaps.
