  • Not only do I send these videos to my guitar students (should have them pay you, Dale!), I go back to them to refresh myself in some of the accidental/added tone chords. Really great ideas here to keep our playing fresh and interesting. Much love and blessing from Chicago, brother. - E.T.

  • Dale, Thanks. Very useful. What this video has helped me do is look to find added chord tones within (or close to) the open chord forms. For instance, until today, I've always played F#m as a traditional barre chord. Thanks for opening my mind a bit.

  • Man you are always a pleasure to watch. Can I make a request. Could you do a video on tying lead runs together. I find myself playing my leads in either major or minor but have a little trouble putting long runs together. BTW. I am self taught so that explains my lack of how to express terms of knowledge. LOL

  • thanks for watching and i appreciate you kind words! your request is a good one but a big order - with all the lick and keys it is hard to consider where to start - if i may recommend the video on Sweet Home Chicago - Blues Basics on my channel. Might be some things there - i also did a video on blues licks in A. I'll be thinking about this more! Thanks again,

    dale

  • very cool, once again!

  • thanks so much for taking your time to check it out - hope all is good!
