You can't hold science accountable for being correct or wrong in the way that it will never be right there is always more and more and all that we know now wont be abuntantly accepted in the scientific communty 50 years from now. Well I'm not going to marry you!!! But an interesting point. I'm an atheist and I have no intention in ever getting married, I feel this is also a religious institution which holds no appeal to me. That said it is interesting to note that divorce rates are lower for Atheists than for Theists. Though I say I have no enthusiasm for the idea of getting married if my partner has her heart set on marriage I'd probably make the concession.

I'd be interested to see if other Atheists share this view.

I agree there's way to many loop holes in creationism to have any real solid foundation. Even the Supreme Court ruled creationism as unscientific based on many things about it. Although evolution does have a few itself.

It didn't look to me like she was celebrating her atheism in this video.  She was answering questions honestly and if she's being honest she'll admit that she's an atheist. She may celebrate it in other videos, but what's wrong with celebrating it? It doesn't make sense to spend too much time not believing. You can't fake belief. You either believe or you don't. It's not something that you can choose to do.

If you have doubts, but feel that there's more than "just this world", then you still have more belief than doubt. To a person who is an atheist, the idea of a deity is so ridiculous that it can't be believed.

As a biochemist for a very large pharmaceutical company, prepare yourself for heartbreak when you see a new effective compound pulled for a lack of potential profits. It's a business and that will sting. Try to stay away from chemical companies. I could no longer justify a rabbit eye test for a new weed killer. There is a lot of good that can be done in Pharma.
