  • I am feeling your channel.

  • omg so sad i missed this when is it happening again

  • I can't get shea moisture in the UK;(

  • Man, that camera gives me the shivers.

  • Um, yeah Mr. Dennis seemed to be exhausted. Love Shea Moisture products so it was good to hear him say their goal is to continue to keep it simple, affordable, and convenient.

  • Shea Moisture = LOVEEEE.

  • i love your makeup in this video! I wish you would do makeup tutorials

  • @taren916 I would live to go to events like these and I live in the NYC area how do you get access to these events? is there some type of emailing list?

  • @klawdia24 This event was last year and was all over facebook and bglhonline Taren also did a video promoting the event as a meet-up days before.

  • Got dizzy after a couple minutes...too much blur too often...

  • The cam they used is crazy sharp! Wow! Great vid!

I agree, Mr. Dennis looked tired.

  • The cam they used is crazy sharp! Wow! Great vid!!

  • your friend was really cool...i will check her out even though I am natural...Mr Dennis seemed like it was a rough long day for him...but I am hoping the state of his head is not due to his product trial and error...lol..maybe he was the guinea pig until he got the formula just right...lol..just kidding...great vid..thanks for sharing

  • great video thanx taren for letting us in who were not able to attend

  • Loved attending this event! Best & Red Wishes, How to be a Redhead

  • this was EXCELLENT!!

  • Is their a website where I can learn about these events!!!! I live in NJ and I'm always in NY but I never know about this stuff!!! PLEASE HELP!! :/

  • I'm kinda sad that I missed the Shea Moisture event. Most of my products I use on my hair is Shea Moisture. I had a cold that day and didn't wanna spread my love germs (lol). Another reason for not making the event (I must admit) is that I am kinda shy about meeting you Taren. I had a couple of opportunities to meet you and punked out due to my shyness. I'll work up the nerve to make it happen :)

  • Sheamoisture curl smootjie is thebomb.com...Love your videos Taren!

  • not feeling the redhead girls at all.

  • wow great camera quality!

  • 3:53 Mr. Dennis (the CEO) seeming a bit vexed when Taren asked him the question....Rolling his eyes and smacking his lips.

  • @lePearlNoir LOL.... I think he was just really tired... That was the end of the event and it was a LONG day! He was cool.. Wasn't rude at all..

  • Excellent video!! What kind of camera was used?

  • Yay! You are always so positive on your vids! Looked like a cool event!

  • Why must ignorant people come and comment...UR HAIR IS GORGEOUS, LOVE UR VIDS

  • Can ya even run a comb through ya hair?

  • "..how important hair typing is.."

    DONE!

  • No that CEO dude did not just smack his lips smh

  • Okay Taren can you please tell us what kind of camera you're using. I know lots of us have asked and you may not have time to respond to each and every one of us. It would be most helpful if you could put it in the description box. Pretty please :-)

  • *most

  • Great camera! It shows every nook and cranny WOW.. I'm sure mist of us what to know...what camera are you using?

  • Wow wish I couldhave attended this :(.

  • Hey thats me!!!! @ 2:25. This was a great event, I brought sooooooo much stuff for me and my boyfriend. I really like their products.

  • I agree his attitude is rude! He rolled his eyes when his was asked a question. How foolish of him! Instead of promoting his business to viewers he's acting like a cheap snob! Shame on him!

  • nice camera!

  • I love love love Shea Moisture brand and Walgreens runs a bogo free sell everytime I shop. Lol I still end up spending $60+ bucks. I use the damaged hair line and it has improved my hair so much. I get the curly hair line for my daughter and her hair lives it.

  • My son just said, "hey that's the lady from My Wife and Kids"...lol

  • I DO NOT LIKE THE MOOD OR ATTITUDE OF THE CO-FOUNDER/CEO RICHELIEU DENNIS ...SEEMS VERY RUDE..TURN OFF

  • the second guy didnt look like he was in such a good mood lol

  • You look so radiant in this video! I really like how everything just comes natural to you when you're on camera. Great video

  • Not sure how to feel about that "how to be a redhead" site. I'm bi-racial (Dominican) with natural red hair and tight 3c to 4a curls. I'm part black so yes, I can tan. my hair's coarse. my skin's yellow/brown that barely freckles. their entire site is just based on the typical European redhead as if bi-racial redheads just don't exist. oh well :(

  • Thanks!

  • Taren you have the most beautiful skin on youtube. It's so flawless!!!!!

  • So I was at the event and had a hair cocktail made and was so disappointed. I had already used some of the products with an OK result but there was a conditioner that I bought (with the olive label) that was awful. It had no slip and caused my hair to tangle badly. I am now diluting it to get rid of it but doubt I'll purchase anything but the shampoo again. Even the curl spray dried my hair out.

  • u r looking luminous. what type of foundation do you use?

  • Please tell me what camera are you using?

  • Girl can you left us know of other events before hand...pdf love to attend..love you

  • <3!! get em xo

  • very cool video!! i need to try those shea moisture products. :-)

  • Nice I wish I couldve of made it I had to work =-(

  • I love shea moisture!! I started using them many years ago...they work like a charm.

  • great quality video girl..

  • great recap video...ugh i need to not smile so wide o_O

  • you have nice teeth!

  • oh man.. your pic on the video at the very start.. i thought i was looking at a clip of tisha campbell! i didn't realize how much you resembled her until recently, but i didn't even know i was on your channel. i was looking at my homepage that shows my sub's new uploads, i never look at the name, i glance at pics. i was like what episode was that? from looking at the pic!

  • Keep up the good work girl- you inspire me!!!

  • You are so beautiful and vibrant! You should be a full-time TV host.

  • Shea Moisture has a store?!?!?! OMG I need to go there now!

  • Hey, the big curly wig you have on at the begining of your video, what is the name of it? Is it human? I luv it.

  • It's too bad that Shea Moisture is being sold in France and the UK for 3 times the price. That's because Shea Moisture is selling their products to French and UK websites. I find that scandalous! 30€ a bottle! I love this line but I won't be ripped off that way because I happen to live in France.

  • @frenchiedee

  • ugh ... i want to try shea moisture so bad but i live in germany, and its nowhere to purchase even not in our amazon. :/

  • @aleksa77300

hello i live in france and this website is amazing i think that they delivery to germany ;)

  • @sabroup OOOOOOOOOH MMY GOOOOOOOOOOD THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU <3 YES THEY ARE SHIPPING TO GERMANYY THANK YOU VERY MUCH <3 <3 <3 <3

  • thanks for the lovely & informative tutorials & videos you have been doing. i live in the uk, and we don't have any Shea moisture line over here and we have heard soooooo many great reviews about this line in you tube. i was just wondering if you could contact Richelieu Dennis if there are any plans of having Shea moisture line over in the uk. i'm particularly excited because this line originated from the country where i was born.

    thanks in advanced.

  • @344tw i also live in the UK and it has just been launched on BritishCurlies.co.uk... hope this helps!!

  • I just found my old bestie too! also, never come at me with that camera

  • you and your middle school friend look related, same mouth and nose lol

  • U remind me of Gina From Martin Show

  • Great video!

  • The quality is great, but camera man needs to zoom out & learn how to focus!

  • Lol I didn't know redheads had their own specific nutritional needs.

  • Congradulations Taren!! :) So proud of you, you did a great job!

  • wish i had known about this.i would have attended.

  • your face looks great what foundation do you use?

  • Awsome video! Great quality! What kind of camera do you use? Anyone know what kind of camera Taren uses?

  • The camera quality is on point! If you know, can you share what camera & lens was used?

Btw Taren love, I have a friend who looks like you! Skin tone, smile, jaw & hair!

  • I'm so mad that I couldn't get out there for this!! I hope Shea Moisture has another pop up @ Bryant Park this year for the Holiday Shops, and I'm gonna be there!!!!

  • Taren, what program are you using to edit your videos now?

  • this is GREAT quality!! im so mad i couldnt go that day.. was stuck at work -__- i swear this working thing is interfering with my free time lol

  • @sjsafety18 Thanks! Next time! ; )

  • I know this was mentioned in the nc video, but I'll repeat it. Curl texture isn't as important as hair type. 2 folks with 4a can have completely different hair needs. Porosity, density, thickness, color treated, etc. These are the things that matter. Sure, it's cool to know curl type when first starting out, but as you go through your hair journey, you'll see what works for you. If you're 4b and what's deemed as 2b products work for you, do you. If you're 2b and ya like heavy butters, do you. :)

  • @hibothebibo im glad u mentioned this b/c i know my hair type and although it not like taren or other hair gurus like u said i still use alotta products or ideas taren and other gurus have talked about and im not even natural. :)

  • Red head lifestyle? I don't see curls but ok then....

  • Good Host

  • I love your videos, you are a night owl like me too, I am transitioning, my last relaxer Jan. 2011, I'm rocking twists now, still haven't done the big chop, thanks for the videos, they help

  • taren is so pretty!

  • Nice vid!! Taren, i love love LOVE your earrings! Where are they from?

  • the scarf! but, i dont believe hair typing is important. I have 3 or 4 different "hair types" running around on this head. so i just use what works.

  • @31285bpierre I know. I have diff "types" on my hair as well .. I believe that the hair typing system was helpful in the beginning of my journey and was a good guide.. Not the holy grail of hair care at all... It's relative.. Some ppl find it helpful and some ppl think it's irrelevant... But it's OK : )

  • @taren916 i mean yes, of course its helpful to people "just starting out" but i do believe once you start learning, you make things work for you.

  • @taren916 Word. you know how many people I've had come on my videos and tell me how my hair type is 2b?? Like umm fall back kthx lol.

  • love your videos taren! ;)

  • first!
