WOW! You brought it back into shape! The car is saved :-D The 74 to 76 Coupe DeVille´s are the most beautiful coupes ever! There is something very refined and delicate about the lines and fit and finish! Just awesome! There was nothing comparable from any manufacturer. Supernice! Must have been lots of work!
I had a late '74 Coupe de Ville. My car was built in the late spring like the one shown in this video. It was Mandarin Orange, a '75 color. There were 3 '75 colors offered on late '74 Caddys. Last year for 472 V8 and round headlights. Graet cars!
When the 75s came with square headlites - this was the ultimate pimpmobile back n the day...
Every Detroit manufacturer adopted 4 horizontal headlites (except for those with 2 lites); right down to a late 1980s Suburban with the 'pimp nose'...
I recently scored a derelict hearse from Scrap Daddy Studios (it was converted into a towing rig; the real flower cars were manufactured by Superior)...
I actually learned to drive in this exact vehicle with the plaid interior. It was a pain to parallel park for the driving test. My father purchased it new from a Ft. Lauderdale dealer and then traded it for a 1977 DeVille when they came out. The 74 was getting a little rusted by then since we lived about a block from the ocean.
Nothing like a Cadillac. She's breath taking, they don't make 'em like that anymore. The song is good too, it fits the era well. 5 stars and favorited!
"In the model year just past, sales of CADILLACs outnumbered all other luxury brands." ....This one is the leader......

The 1:00 mark reminds me of the early 70's Cadillac commercials when they sing "this one is the leader." "Cadillac, for 1974."

The hood crest - these were exclusive with the DeVille D'Elegance...

This is a spring edition coupe, the crest is correct. if you notice the upholstery is the same pattern of 1975.
