LOL!! Actually this baby is a baby girl!! and GIANA is 4 years old now and is in no way affected by the vaccum incident! This was a reaction to the vaccum which was then recorded as a funny memory! Its not entirely healthy to avoid vaccuming because of this type of reaction from a baby. They also need to be taught that the world does not evolve around them. And she quickly got used to the vaccum sound, especially with the comfort of daddy!

Weird...most babies actually LIKE the sound of a vacuume bc it's similar to the same sound of when they were in the womb, so it's usually comforting...my son would always calm down whenever he would hear the vacuume on. That baby must have just had a bad experience in his moms tummy. xD

He's 11 months old now & will bawl his eyes out whenever I have to vacuum! My daughter was the same, she's 4 now & it doesn't phase her, but I think it wasn't until she was closer to 3 that she was over that fear.

NOPE! never a bad experience! not every baby is the same! I have 10 month old twins and they will try to hit the vaccum as im vaccuming, so its not every baby comfort or fear! who knows why she feared it at first, but to be honest, after this incident, she was fine with it!

It could be that the baby is ultra sensitive to loud sounds that the vaccuum produces. My son was afraid of loud noises and would make him cry. Some kids are wired differently than ourselves.
