  • or not even on a track anywhere!

  • My HPI Vorza seems faster and more stable than the E-Revo! I'd beat it in a race on a track!

  • can some you explain all this electric stuff to me im confused about every thing

  • mine run about 1 hour and 30 min.....i have x-cell 3s 5500 and 35c ah and they are lipo-plus idk what that means

  • how long will it take to charge the battery? nice vid...

    PD i want one!!!

  • only 6~7min? something is wrong with yours.

On my Savage Flux HP with 5000mah setup... i get near 30 minutes.

With ESC set to cut off Lipo @ 3.3v

btw... e-revo and savage flux have same motor/esc.

  • nice run! the revo is immense with a 6s set up, good work! its just a shame the camera work is terrible...

  • Are EZRun Brushless Motors good from hobbypartz? And how fast would it be if I put 2 3S Lipos 5000mAh in my E Revo?

  • One of the better cheap knockoffs, but the big problem is efficiency; that's why Castle partnered with Steve Neu to make their 1/8th scale and up motors. There's rarely any shortage of torque and performance for the cheaper motors (as long as they still have a sintered rotor -- most modern motors do), but heat can be a serious problem because the rotor will typically fail around 200F. >60mph on street or >45mph off-road and your runtime might be limited not by battery but motor heat.

  • @AccessAccess I've heard that the setup stays cool because of the fans, but would you recommend this combo?

  • Well if I were to make something like this today, I'd go with an even larger motor like the castle 1717 (if it fits -- check first) or one of the larger 15-size motors if you can still find them. That way maybe the fans wouldn't be as necessary b'cos a fan is one more thing to break.

  • @AccessAccess I got the Mamba Monster 2200kv :)

  • your gearing must be real short because it's not as fast as it should go.

  • lol ich heiß auch max

  • whats the gearing your using? have you had anything go "bad" or break because of the 6s lipo and gearing your using? any upgrades? any recommended upgrades? I want to get 6s lipo for my car and am worrying if it;s worth it.

  • I've had arms break and I've replaced them with better third-party ones they have at most hobby shops (forgot the name but it's pretty well known). I'm also using very low gearing b'cos of the grass. It tops out just a little over 40mph.

  • @AccessAccess what do your gear it when you go around 50-55 on pavement?

  • @AccessAccess RPM?

  • What milliamp are those batteries. I want to get some that lasts atleast 30 minutes and i want two 3s lipo batteries. Any suggestions?

  • How does that run on grass stock? And should I get this or the Summit? I want something that will be good on all terrains, but I think it's awesome how fast this thing goes. How good is it on different terrains and also can you take a Summit off a ramp?

  • 6-7 mins? That sounds really bad for lipos.

  • at :55 sec well held!!!! looked cool!!!

  • how fast does it go plz answer

  • between 40-45mph on the grass. On flat pavement it can be geared to go 60+

  • thx for the reply once i sell my savage and tmaxx and rc8t im getting one lol

  • giggity giggity guu

  • how freaking hot does your shit get doing that???

  • @Dremsta these NEU 2200's stay cool man...I am very impressed with mine...I have it on an emaxx

  • what brand r ur batts and does how much mah your batts hav change the performance a lot? would 2x2s CORE RC lipo batts which r 3250mah each and r 7.4v each work ok with the mamba and neu motor? Plz reply thanx :)

  • Not sure about that brand, thunderpower, orion, etc. are the good brands, also if you want cheap they have the zippy brand from hobbycity in Hong Kong. But 3250mAH is a bit undersized, I would use 4000mAH minimum and 5000mAH if you can get it to fit in the battery bay.

  • Flightmax lipos I have two 3s packs running 6s, 10 minute run, half of the 5000mah capacity drained my mamba is @100degrees, bats @ 80 degrees and my motor @ 110 degrees

  • where did u get ur neu motor online? what website?

  • Dude only 6-7 minutes. I thought they were supposed to run like 20-30 mins. on some good lipos.

  • 'cos it's on grass, nothing runs very long on grass.

  • @kawidaze09 they are. but holding full throttle all the time... id run out of puff too :D

  • Any overheating issues with 6s and running that hard in the grass?

  • You should watch temps but as he said, 120-130 degrees on the grass, after 6-7 minutes, they also sell a small fan that works really well with the motor.

  • Who buys a E Revo to drive in circles on grass>??> = Lame

    Jump that thing!

At least do a wheelie for crying out loud!

  • he just put it in and was trying to get warmed up to the feel of things.. but if you read the discription you would know that...

  • He did his first run. Grass is the perfect surface to begin. I did the same when I first drove my ERBE

  • I notice many folks concentrating on "how fast" when running on wide open fields. My question is what battery value is best for racing at a track? Having the power at your disposal but also being able to keep it on the ground. I have the brushless edition w/ 1/2 offsets and bowties but have not purchased LiPos yet, any suggestions. Its my first electric.

  • Just get a good pack. 4 cell is easier to drive but 6 cell is all the power you can get.. so maybe start with 4 cells and then learn to controll the 6 cells as you will have loads more power when you actually need it.

  • got one :D

    that thing just rulez

  • where can i buy this and how much?

  • Tower hobbies... "Traxxas E-Revo Brushless RTR"

  • that thing hauls, i can tell how much torque it has just by watching hahah

  • awesome truck! Just a comment on the video, it definitely could have been condensed to about 2 minutes tops. Other than that, nice setup.

  • when are you going to post another e revo 6s run?

  • how much dat cost u ?

  • dat cos him mo money dan u got if u type lik dis

  • lmao...oooo shit thats some funny shit right there

  • how many mAH were those packs?

  • 4000mAH

  • bout to get this set up can't wait.!

  • HOW LONG THE BATTERY LAST

  • Basically the whole video, the video starts maybe 20 seconds into the run and ends when the truck starts to lose speed noticeably from the LiPo cutoff kicking in.

  • yo i have another question see i already got the brushless edition on order and now it comes with the 17mm splined hexes... tho but... from a stand still will that do a backflip going from zero to 100% throttle?

  • Depends on how it's setup, it could if you have good batteries and a lower the punch control, but if the punch control is too low you might end up destroying the transmission.

  • i have an e-revo brushed and twin 2cell 5000mAH and mine will do standing back flips.

now it wont always land on its wheels but none the less it will do them from a stand still.

  • HAHA SWEEET

  • yea

fun in the snow too :p

  • hey how big of a difference do you see form 4s compared to 6s worth it??? plz rply.

  • man you are brutal on the throttle

  • i love the brushless stuff ive got a bandit vxl and i know its faster mot of the time but i just love the noise of nitro and how you dont need to change batterys. Although i have been considering converting my revo to brushless do you think it is worth it. I just have a hard time tuning it and stuff, also i feel like its not very reliable. If i were to convert it what kind of motor and esc would you recomend? (this one seems pretty nice)

  • if i were you i would get the teckno rc motor mount, and teckno battery plate, a feigao 8xl or if you want crazy cheap speed a kb45xl (what i have), get a mamba monster max and either 4 or 6 cell lipo 5000 mah or more and your set!

  • what suspension set-up are you running

  • No changes from stock, other than ride height adjustment.

  • Never realized grass kills the battery that quick, still a nice setup.

  • What gearing do you use? Nice vid.

  • 18/65 I think, not 100% on the spur, it's the stock E-Revo spur...

  • cool, i wonder what the run time would be on road?

  • Wow nice truck but I thought it would get longer run times though, Oh well.

  • B'cos it's on grass, the runtimes are about 1/3 to 1/2 what you'd get on dirt.
