I respect military service, but what does attacking Iraq have to do with our freedom? It's the leaders who make decisions that aren't in our interests.
I fought in OIF, and it has EVERYTHING to do with your freedom and mine. If you view it as an "attack" on Iraq, then maybe you should do some more research. Also, if you do not have the intestinal fortitude to enlist, then don't judge or comment on others who had that gumption.

Earlier I posted a request to boycott NBC and their affiliates. I have since found out that GE is the parent company of NBC. This Christmas I will not purchase any product that is any way associated with the General Electric company. GE needs to say "YOU'RE FIRED" to the people responsible for rejecting this tribute to our loved ones serving around the world 24/7.

My son who is a veteran of the Iraq war, does not support him. Most of the military men can't afford to give money to a canidate. Ron Paul is not a Republican in my eyes. Troops do watch TV...they get American TV too...Satellite and Internet, plus they come home for RnR. So, they do get the opportunity to see it.
The message is positive and supportive of troops, not a party. The mention of the ad sponsor is very unnoticeable...didn't make me feel like visiting it in the slightest.

Earlier I posted a request to boycott NBC and their affiliates. I have since found out that GE is the parent company of NBC. This Christmas I will not purchase any product that is any way associated with the General Electric company. GE needs to say "YOU'RE FIRED" to the people responsible for rejecting this tribute to our loved ones serving around the world 24/7.

My son who is a veteran of the Iraq war, does not support him. Most of the military men can't afford to give money to a canidate. Ron Paul is not a Republican in my eyes. I would vote for Obama, before I voted for a nut like Paul. My husband,a Dem. hates Bush, but he voted for him twice over Kerry and Gore. My God, what a mess we would be in if they got in office. They want to ask the U.N.'s permission before we can do anything.

This is about our servicemen, not President Bush. They enlisted to do a job the majority of us are not brave enough to do. Or won't sacrifice our cushy lives and relationships for. They have to put their own politics aside, and do the job. This is about letting them know that we appreciate them, while they are far away from their families during the holidays.
I'm not happy with NBC, but if I met someone who worked for them right now, I'd still say Merry Christmas.

I just dont see the big deal with this ad. To me it sounds like nitpicking. I have seen countless of ads with a website involved at the end. I still didnt go to their websites, but i didnt mind the ads. There are so many everyday with all kinds of messages, this one actually had something I think all "Americans" would have supported and not mind at all. Like I said, "this" was banned? Wow!
