Creepier? I dont think the foreward version of the song is creepy, in fact I like this song.

Sonic's nightmare theme for water

why do you have a picture of Sonic drowning in Chemical Plant Zone?

The Mega Mack looks like the polluted water in Tidal Tempest.
Besides I think it helps emphasize the nightmare fuel of this song.

Yes but why is Sonic drowning?
uh probably because whoever was playing this took too long in the liquid and drowned.
Also it emphasizes the scariness part.
@OniLordMiki There is a 1-UP T.V. just to the right of the screen,
weird and i like, now do present, past, and good future and you will have a complete zone!

This actually sounds better imo... Its amazing!

It sounds as badfuturistic as the original, and that means a lot, considering it is the most evil sounding track on the jap version!!

Ironically most people prefer the US for this one.
OniLordMiki 3 years ago
So do I, it must be one of the five or less tracks that win on the US version.
It's just that the japanese sounds evil, and the reversed sounds just as mean.
SpiralPegasus 3 years ago
What do you think are the other 4?
Oh, good question... xD
Stardust Speedway Bad Future
Speed Shoes
Wacky Workbench Present and
Quartz Quadrant Bad Future
Problem is that while many jap tracks are plain better, on some cases there are ties between both versions, even while they aim at different "feels".
Both OST's are good. But the japanese one has more feeling and complements the game perfectly.
That was pretty cool and scary sounding! Oddly, it sounds very similar to the track non reversed.

Apparently, the music is so creepy, it made Sonic scream out of fear...underwater, for some reason. LOL

Aha, I see you used Chemical Plant for the picture. Guess what I used for Chemical Plant Zone for the Sonic 2 MP3 tool? You got it. And if you didn't, I have a video of it.
