To all the idiots bashing Roman P. - "The victim, Samantha Geimer, during a television interview on 10 March 2011, blames the media, reporters, the court, and the judge for causing "way more damage to [her] and her family than anything Roman Polanski has ever done."
Polanski settled with Geimer DECADES ago, and Geimer even admits the courts fucked up the case. Read up on the case on LexisNexis or something, it is one of the most ridiculous rulings ever. Hell, just wiki it! Knowledge people.

same thing happened to my nose a few months ago when i got in a bad car accident i smashed my face against something i dont know what it was but it cut my nostril open like this i had to be rushed to the ER and stitched up now i have a big scar on the right side of my nose it really sucks i gotta get the scar revised but ya dont ever let anybody do this to u cuz it really sucks haha not that i was cut with a knife but it could happen that way too and its a terrible injury to endure

no they live in luxurious exile in france and marry beautiful french actresses and have their oscars fedexed to them and bask in the love of the vast majority of americans.
It is in my opinion THE scene in the movie, though the whole movie is great with many memorable scenes. "My daughter.. my sister.. my daughter.. my sister" comes close though. And of course the final: "Forget it, Jake, it's Chinatown".
@integral Nope :( Has it really been 3 years since I left that last comment? O___o I just saw Sunset Blvd and L.A. Confidential recently. I guess I'm a bit scared to watch classic movies in fear that my expectations are set too high.
@orangevertigo It's streaming on N'Flix if you don't mind non-HD quality. I think it's kinda tough to expect too much of this film. Jack is at his best, Faye Dunaway does a role of a life time turn, and John Huston is one scary twisted monster.
And so now that I've said that it probably will be a let down :D
