I first saw shows like Outlaw Star on Toonami, later known in my country at least as CNX.

Those were good times.

Awesome action shows like Dragonball Z and Batman Beyond in the afternoons.

Dark shows like Outlaw Star and Escaflowne in the evenings.

And even a few foreign language films like Blue submarine 6 at night.

This was a good channel.

You look at kids shows on CN and Nicktoons or (shudders) the Disney Channel and you know what? I weep for the current generation.
