Sometimes there really isn't any need for the Q at all. Or a siren all together, its all about the driver/operator and the officer up front having the sense when too and not too use the sirens.
Yes they are nessecary for most responses. But other times, just a nusiance.

i seen a fed q on the bumper and know 1 is using it so sad !!!!just like my frie dept we have old people that suck
