  • I have the original vinyl album and EP but found it recently on ITunes for download. Loved this band.

  • God - I remember seeing them just before this album was released playing in the Belleville in Dunfermline - I must have been 17 so I don;t know how I got in there but they were wonderful live.

  • Awesome! THANX for POSTING THIS!

  • Loved this album - brings back great memories. Does anyone know where I could get the album?

  • @grakefloaby - Cado Belle album? Try the Music Stack website. Also, the LP and EP are available on a Japanese CD. Try Amazon UK (they had one last time I checked), Amazon USA and also Amazon Canada. Prices vary from about 15 quid (UK) to 60+ (Canada). All sites appears to be down to one or two copies (Music Stack is all vinyl inc. singles and I saw a CD-R). The Japanese CD is wonderful... a mini album sleeve, and having the EP tracks added is a real bonus. And it all - still - sounds great.

  • They were ahead of their time ('77). This song deals with the sustainability matter. Global warming. Big issue nowadays.

  • Just found this video! Oh Happy day!! Always felt this band should have been huge! First heard them supporting Gllagher and Lyle at the Apollo in Glasgow and then stood 3 feet from Maggie at Edinburgh Uni. gig in October 1977!! Still sounds fresh and the musicianship is just superb!!

  • you're right still sounds fresh....and would love to see them live.....still keeping the sound alive and play them out at our rare soul nights...

  • A musical jewel

  • Poor Cado Belle...should have been Scotland's Rose Royce, but arrived just when punk blasted everything else out of the water.

  • Better than Rose Royce....

  • Classic show them all how a sound should sound. In a word perfection.

  • Beacon Radio in Wolverhampton used to play loads of Cado Belle stuff in the late '70s.

  • yes ,I'll try and post sometime soon

  • great - forgot this track! Isn't there another good track on this LP?

  • Every track on it is utterly brilliant. My favourites however are 'Stone's Throw From Nowhere' , 'Airport Shutdown' and 'Paper in the Rain'. The last one mentioned is about how we all felt when we heard the news of Jimi's death at the age of 27. I remember hearing of the assasination of JFK, but I was too young for it to mean much. But when Hendrix died, that hurt bad.
