Its a better option to preserve your drinks until you really need them, if you know you cant survive long with a low health, better option is to drink one. Its sort of beast to save them for boss fights depending on your difficulty :)

I have played both the PC and the PS2.

For some reason my PS2 disc was not working properly, so I play it on the PC. The PC has good graphics and good loading times.

I am not saying the PS2 is bad, cause I have played Silent Hill 2 on the PS2. But the PC has good processing capabilities.

The controls of the PC version were quite difficult so I mapped them on the keyboard similar to the PS2 controller positions. Now it runs great.

lol i remember when my cousin played this she put the hairdryer in, killed the monster but as she was walking across the walkway she fell in the water and she hadnt saved since before the split worm boss fight :D i lol'd so hard.

The mannequin part used to scare me when I played this game a while back, but now it don't really bother me. Then again there's a very big difference between watching a game and playing it yourself.

The mannequin thing is an homage to the mannequins in the other games (or so I'm told). Just like that rabbit, wherever it is.

@bmthbtf there are a load of bug things blocking the exit on the other side of the room where you use the bleach and deteargent, the fumes kill them all so you can pass

Nah i never got lost playing any of the SH games... But that's cause I only got a good memory. After the 2nd playthrough of SH3 I even stopped using the map like this guy here. I must've played SH3 at least 15 times, back in the day :3

@Nagneto It doesnt require you to run from everything you encounter, I've beaten every silent hill game there is and I kill every monster that I encounter. The only time I'll ever run past a monster is if I'm low on health, but Yeah I know this game makes if pretty hard to fight and its good to conserve ammo for the bosses.
