  • "Top quality stuff" is 100% accurate. I've got an '01 Ibis Silk Ti that's still running strong. Awesome XC bike. I had a rear disk brake mount welded on by Strong Frames, so I can benefit from disk brakes front and back (the new Castellano Designs Silk Ti has a rear disk brake mount, so no welding required). Combine the ride with a tubeless tire system, and you've got one heck of ride. I've upgraded components over the years, but I have no desire to get a new frame.
