this was horrible you must have just got it.. lol.. not that I would do any better but jeez I hope you dont think this is good.. you're not supposed to be tilting back and forth so much lol
If you play this back at normal speed, it look horrible. Every step you take is bouncing all over the place. Learn how to balance the camera, and practice walking keeping the camera level with horizon. Don't just try to trick people by slowing everything down. That's not how its done.
Even though you're shooting in 50 frames slow-mo, your floatyness is still really noticable... That could be your weight, acting up. You tried 5/5 weights on both ends, no ext monitor or mic, and the extending the bottom rod to 8"?
Hery men... i just got my 4000 Pro, and i have the HVX200... i have to ask you for tips... how many plates do you used for the calibration???... can you post a video of the right setup with the HVX200, with no accesories???... i'll be thankful, i'm going crazy with this hole calibration shit... TRHX... peace
Hello friend from Seville, Spain. A question I have a Flycam 5000, that is equal to Glidecam 4000 pro I also have a Hvx200, but with himself not to stabilize the camera, can give me to some advice or trick? Greetings and thanks.
I was surprised that it was so hard to get it to setup. Read the instructions carefully and then try to walk steady. If possible record in slow-mo and replay in normal speed.
The truth that I have been several days trying and is no form, balances towards ahead, soon I compensate and it has been going away for a lateral one, or backwards, very disappointed with this system. thanks.
I just borrowed the Glidecam. I decided to buy one. I think that you need the one to strap on the back if you want to be serious. If you still use it. Walk like Groucho Marx...

Works wonders with my GC 4000 and HVX-200.
Try it out.

Dude, it's not how many plates you use specifically, it's how you adjust your camera on the mount. You can slide your camera forward and back, etc...

record in slow-mo on the hvx200? how do you that? thnks.
diciannove 3 years ago
you cant record in slomo. but you shoot in 1080p, then go back and do a time remap using an editing program.
shnerpler 3 years ago
the hvx has variable frame rates so you can shoot at a higher fps and you get slow motion or shoot with a lower fps and get fast motion
maskedkiller13 3 years ago
yeah ok the resolution you shoot in has nothing to do with the framerate (ie. speed)..
spongah 2 years ago
There's plenty of tutorials. It's called overcranking. Shoot at 60fps in a 30fps format. That will give you 1/2 speed.
