Mallory, I know it's no fun having your heart broken. But this interview was very important to Alex and could have greatly affected his life. In your place I would have went for a walk outside and waited for Alex to finish his interview. I have a heart. But I also know that if you want to cry on someone's shoulder, you should at least wait until they are ready.

where in the episode did the dean ever hold it against alex and not accept him. in fact i got the impression that when alex left the interview to help his sister the dean was somewhat shocked but understanding. i was left with the feeling thta alex probably got accepted partially based on that.

Thanks for this! As nnayar says, the homecoming episode is one that really sticks out in my memory - Alex fighting with a kangaroo in the living room and that obnoxious kid wanting his pancakes or waffles or something for breakfast. Please post that one if anyone can find it again! Thanks
