It's astounding that someone solved the urban transport problem such a long time ago, yes 109 years ago! And yet here we are in the 21st century -- American civilization where people are traveling at 10 mph on clogged freeways, one person to an automobile.
The big oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico is a sign of how stupid public policy in the US has been to allow such a gross dependence on the internal combustion technology and its marriage with Big Oil companies. We are really stupid.

@sarii96D Die Schwebebahn wird auch nirgend mehr gebaut. Alles was der gleichen gebaut wird ist nicht die Schwebebahn die bleibt bei uns. Der Staat nimmt und alles aber nicht unsere Schwebse!
I think you've made a good vid of the "Schwebebahn". You haven't dubbed any useless music over it, like many-many others. So besides seeing it moving, you can hear it orginal sound too, which pleasures my ears !
Why don't we build these above the already overcrowded freeways here in America, especially in here Southern California? This would be too innovative for the dimwit politicians in this area. It only goes to show you how we don't even use technology that was invented over 100 years ago. How sad!!!!
they should make the bottom of the train clear so you can see yourself flying over the streets.

stimmt schon
ich finds auch immer total lustig wenn ich von der schule komm und dann da so ne gruppe japaner da mit fotoknipsern sitzen und voll erstaund sind
aber ich muss zu schulzeiten halt 5 tage die woche damit fahren und ich finde z.B. U-Bahnen total faszinierend sowas haben wir in wuppertal nicht =(
