We too have FZ6s in the UK so I would guess no. The XJ is less powerful, different engine tuning more midrange, but apparantly is a hooligan machine none the less!

no, the xj is a de-tuned fz designed more for beginners or for peeps who want a in line 4 with more low end grunt

Here in Phoenix, Arizona I went to the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. They taught both beginner and advanced courses. You can get even more advanced training at some racetracks as well.

Yamaha know how to make a mean looking bike. I think that they should have made it a twin since they already have the fz6 and with a relatively low power and the use inline 4 seems wasted
