It looks very awesome! If I may make a suggestion... I would film your background first. Add your 300 effect to your background. And green screen your person in. I think it would add clarity from your body and your background effect. Because you become part of the background with no distinction. (You can get a "green screen" at a fabric store, just use any green cloth at all. And even iMovie can do green screen keying effect so I am sure you have the means of getting a program that can do that.)

AE runs on windows 7. The latest version, CS5, requires a 64-bit version of windows but I belive it comes with a CS4 version for those running 32-bit.

@AnaisMedia Adobe AE CS5 is something I DID buy of cause along with Optical Flares (but now I'm going off topic). I'm pretty sure its CS5 (just had to check again to be sure). The only thing I can think of is my computer may be doing something stupid...but in a good way this time. To be honest I very surprised it worked. (reason I have this version to begin with is due to the fact my tower is 64b)...blar blar blar you get the idea ;)

@DANNYC72094 even though the audio is disabled you can still get an idea of what he did, it's a matter of using feathered mattes in after effects on the sides and keying out the sky in the middle section, then color correcting the new sky graphic to match the sides after contrast and color balance has been played with to your liking. last it looks like he keyframed the sky graphic to move slightly and give the effect of moving clouds.

in youre 'pre-comp' shot, the light source is to the character's left, and illuminates the screen left side of him. in your 'comp-up' the light source changes to behind the character. you need to consider which light source you want to use, and re light your character before your comp to match. consider animating the clouds behind him. dont completely silhouette the tree unless you plan on silhouetting the character as well...perhaps when you re shoot, use a pepper or a 500W to light your guy!

When people use to bootleg cassettes and albums before the internet, it was not taking away from the artist, as people were getting live concerts and so forth that they would otherwise never be able to get.

Now, as soon as a cd is released, it is leaked, and then it gets downloaded with no money going to the artist and that is what makes it so bad and sad.

The artst losses.

They are doing that, because they know that if they release new material, it will become downloadable

It is about like some authors out there, refuse to have their material as downloadable eletronic audio, as they know that it will get bootlegged. It is all over the news. Artist are going broke. Facts, it is happening.

If anything most of the Record Producers will take the hit, 'cause as we all know everyone builds studio's and records their own music at a fraction of the cost nowaday's. That's why alot of the newer bands encourage downloading. Look at it like this,unless your a well known band, you will give away your music, just to be heard. Their isn't any bands that will go broke because of downloading.

I deal with music on a daily basis and talk with musicians all the time and they loose a lot of revenue and possibly being dropped from their record companies if the sales are not there. Record companies make money on sales, the bands make it at the concerts, if the company is not making money, the band gets dropped.

here's a tip: don't use glows. it isn't what happens on film and is an obvious digital effect. A good alternative is to put the digital footage through a 'log to lin' conversion, then ADD that on top of the original. It will allow your highlights to get more range in them. With digital, they are clipped at 1 (white), with film you get values all the way up to 30 or so. This can simulate that.
