Jeeze, y'know... I love Alexi, have loved him an as idol ever since Follow the Reaper hit and I retraced their path to find Hatebreeder, then had Hatecrew Deathroll come out. admit it, if bodom would made all the albums like old ones then all lbums would sound exactly the same and would have become boring in first minutes of listening. with diferent styles they want to achieve variety of their styles so that you can actuakky compare albums. else you would say FTR sound like HCD and hatebreeder. every album of theirs represent feeling and they are pretty good with putting feeling into music

@15kol Very true. I usually dislike the people who get on here and complain how they don't like new artists albums. I'll admit, this album makes me worry a little bit for Bodom. But at the same time, I appreciate the difference in sound that they've had as they got older and better at what they do. Rather than staying purely classical or with symphonic parts thrown in, they have gotten more into their current sound as time went on.

This song sucks balls, you really should have made a video for another RRF song, like Shovel Knockout or Ugly or Not My Funeral, but this video is disrespecting the whole fucking album, which isn't that good anyway, but not this much bad either!

Also I want more Standard D tuning and 3rd string pinch harmonics. 6th string ones sound shit, they fit -core genres much better than CoB.

Slayer, though unintentionally, throws common practice out the window and adheres to a number of techniques that were pioneered in the 20th century music theory school of thought. Children of Bodom music is based on neo-classicism which plays around in the same tonal 4/4 box that has been going on for the past 400 years.

Slayer's riffs are basically the same except the strumming pattern is slightly changed, always in the same tuning, same key, same scale, and the solos are literally just Kerry King spazzing his fingers around the neck half the time, I would know because I cover Slayer songs as well as Bodom. Bodom has beautiful composition, try playing songs like Living Dead Beat, Bodom Beach Terror.
