i'm disappointed. i have the problem that the bumper's inside scratched the aluminium frame of my iphone! i did not expect these problems from this expensive case. someone knows the problem? pls thumbs up. otherwise this case is an optimal protection!

They added thickness so when you drop it either side, it lands on the bumper and not the glass on the phone, hence giving you more protection.

My bunmper broke down in only 2 months! It became loose and the silicone started peeling off from plastic.

AND THE GREATEST FLAW is that it scratches the phone itself. I cleaned it every other day but still the phone looked bad. The scratces are like shining bits on the metal collar.

I got sooo frustrated with Apple that I switched to Samsung few days ago.

I've just ordered an iPhone 4 on PAYG from o2 and have been trying to decide which case to get through the free case programme. I'm not a case person (I've had my 3G for two years, never used a case and it is still fine getting ready to be recycled). The Bumper looks like a nice compromise given it's recessed so should protect the back if I put the phone down on a table but wont add too much bulk overall.

Also, I like the look of those otto skins!
