Yeah Scottie couldve gotten the Sonics a championship (especially being teamed up with Payton and Kemp) but remember he won all those titles in Chicago only cuz of Jordan!! Jordan fueled a lot of the success that Pippen had in his career that Pippen probably wouldnt have had without him!!

@OutRunr47 The sonics look back and would've liked to keep Scottie if they knew better, BUT, he was traded for Olden Polynice, a player in a trade who eventually helped sonics get the rights to draft Kemp. Sonics DID win a championship in 78,also went agains the 72-10 bulls in 95/96 won 2 games off them in the finals & 1 in the reg season. Only championships matter of course, but winning 3/8 against one of greatest teams in history is pretty good. But yeah, in the end they shoulda kept scottie

If Scottie would've went to Seattle he would've had to deal with Jordan just like Gary Payton and other superstars who didn't win rings because of Jordan during the 90's. Chicago would've ended up with someone else just as good as Scottie or better to help Jordan out. Everybody knows Scottie got his rings from helping Jordan so you have no point.
