This is the preview for what was supposed to be a movie. Warner brothers rejected it so it was made into a show on youtube and was called Mortal Kombat legacy. The baraka character was changed because of the negative feedback and now follows the actual game better snd he doesent look like bob marley, also in this one cage does not die.

Then a director named Tancharoen made this short (Mortal Kombat Rebirth) as a pitch for a new movie. Warner Bros. liked it but instead gave him the right to make an online webisodes series.
