  • no YOU guys drive on the wrong side of the road lol

  • you just sound like a retard...

  • our toilets flush backwards? O_O' that I did not know!

  • He sounded pretty good. But why did he say "our toilets flush backwards?" Boy, there's something I wouldn't want to see.

  • ahahahahahaha<3

  • Honestly the accent wasn't bad. But you don't have to disguise your natural accent just because you're coming to the states. We like to hear different accents, we just don't like to hear people saying rude things about us or our country.

  • @jjalith lol look at the info.he's American...and he's switiching between English/Aussie accent.

  • I say we drop a nuke on him from his awful attempt.

  • bisaya ka pa rin kahit anung gawin mo sa dila mo

  • I still like the fact that people actually think Dustin has a real Australian accent. hehe

  • Keep your Aussie accent and the American girls will be all over you, Pal.

  • we don't jerk off imaginary dicks in america

  • you sound and look maori.

  • Pretty good, actually reall good.

But in America we let our guns do the talking!

  • @HardBodyNyC lmao, you do realize he's actually american?

  • @HardBodyNyC

No, I'm pretty sure that's just the rednecks....

  • hahaha, just keep the normal accent youll pull more girls than someone with a normal lame american accent

  • "We drive on the wrong side of the road, our toilets flush backwards, and we have funny accents." WOO. ^_^

  • Haha, this video made me laugh. Your accent is definitely pretty close.

  • @MrTomfooligans hes american read the description

  • no... you have funny accents... and you drive on the wrong side of the road...

  • haha i love how when your saying USA it looks like your jacking off two dicks

  • you fooled me, :) i'm from new york haha

hey hey hey we're not stupid though.

you're the ones driving on the wrong side of the roadd

  • actually we drive on the right side of the road

  • That really wasn't bad at all! Good job!

  • Go fuck yourself, Tsud; you're misrepresenting your country's awesomeness. Go sit in a fucking hole out in Perth or some shit.

  • British accents is way better, I live in USA and I am tired of these cursing bloody american accent.

  • @Sasukekillsitachi no american ever says "bloody"

  • @Sasukekillsitachi lol, i think you mean bloody accent, you don't need the rest of it

  • Wow! i hope Cali eats you alive ..lol

  • Go to Compton with that accent, homey.

  • As an American, I found this video to be quite amusing (toilets flushing backwards, usa usa!). You do the accent pretty well, but you will definitely need to practice more. You seem to be concentrating on how to pronounce words which is why one of the comments below stated you sound "slow." I would just stick to what is natural... especially if you want to find a girlfriend. I know a lot of gals who dig Aussie, British, and other accents.

  • british accents are better, dn't change!

  • LOL I love how you said Californya xD

  • Not bad but next time say um more...

  • HAHAHAHAHA i really enjoyed this

  • Sorry there mate, but if you show up speaking like that everyone is going to start thinking your slow. Lol just stick with whats natural.

  • Toilets flush backwards? Please elaborate lol.

  • you're american and you're faking a foreign accent. how's that?

  • @nycsep

.....I have videos doing the same thing, but mine were requests and such.

    It's a joke, goodness.

He says in the description that he's American.

  • not bad

  • just a couple things. you werent too bad. When you say hello pronounce the H more. but who cares if you speak with an accent here. Were the biggest melting pot in the world :)

  • You don't need to practice an accent, you visit there, its bound to rub off on you. Its like practicing to be wet, and appear wet, before you go swimming in the ocean 'so you fit in' and the other swimmers don't make fun of you. Its completely silly. As soon as you get into a different country, you're going to be immersed in it, its all around you, and you're bound to get wet. You'd be hard pressed not to have it rub off on you.

  • Ur nucking futs. lol.

  • LOL

  • your accent is clear enough, no need to be like american one, cheers

    ~

  • Hum you may need to re-title your video ... your "accent" is fine you'd pass for American easily.

  • lol...awesome. This is so funny because I have always played around with trying to fake a British accent and now I see Brits trying to do American accents. Nice.

  • Well, theres no need to pretend to be an American, we can point it out.

Not only that, your accent isn't that good... needs more work.

PLUS, it doesn't matter where you go in America, we all have different accents. :/

  • hey im from the states and i think british accents are cool

  • USA! USA!USA!........thats it

    HAHAHAH LOL

  • u fail

  • americans like accents! u just will be asked alot of questions! lol

  • I was in Australia for about 4 years and now settled in Canada, I can tell right away ur mocking the Aussie accents too... U shouldn't disrespect a country where u will be moving ( in ur dreams) for a better future. And a better accent ofcourse!

  • Your not american.. Just another "AZN" with shitty YouTube Videos :d

  • @lyricful101, people outside the US call it the States because we aren't the only place with "America" in it (South America and Central America). But its only people from the British Isles that call it "The States". When I was in Germany and Holland everyone said "America" or "USA". If you really think about it though, we are literally a union of States, which makes us very unique, so its actually quite correct to refer to us as that. I do and I'm an American Yankee!

  • Comment removed

  • I was laughing soo hard haha but you actually didn't butcher it.. You did really good. You sounded like me haha I'm from around Boston though

  • He's not from the UK. He's from Australia

  • Your accent is quite believeable! I wouldn't be able to tell that you were from the UK =D

  • Keep your accents if you're moving, people! As long as you're relatively understandable, it's all good.

  • American on Board!

Umm you really don't need to fake an accent here because there are many other foreign accents here from african to spanish. Also, The U.S. has different accents within itself.

  • Yeah we may drive on the wrong side but we own it

  • No, we literally drive on the RIGHT side of the road.

  • @Ablossey hahahaha that's gotta be one of my all time favorite comments!

  • we drive on the wrong side of the road lol...

  • @lyricful101 I think it just depends on where you're from. I'm an American and I call it the States sometimes...not a lot, but occasionally.

  • fail

  • Most of the people you meet in California have an accent. Most of us don't treat you differently if you do. Its the people with accents who make fun of us, in my experience.

  • lol when someone with a british accent uses an american accent it sounds really snotty and vice versa haha.

  • haahahhaha omg amazing hahahhaahah! wrong side of the road! ahahah hilarious haha

  • Don't fake an accent. In the US, we have enough people from other countries living and visiting here that it does not matter how you speak English. Some people live here 30 or 40 years without losing their native accent and never have a problem.

In fact, depending on the accent, it could help you out. Many Americans see some of the British accents as more cultured and sophisticated. Many people see the various latin accents as sexy.

  • @HeadTater Read the description.

  • @HeadTater Think it's more of a skill thing that people try to perfect.

  • American here. That was actually pretty good. I mean not dead-on, but I'd probably buy it.

  • Our toilets flush backwards?? lol

  • haha well your accent is moderate. funny to watch though.

  • lyricful101 its b/c everybody hates that we call ourselves america b/c apparently to them we're not.

  • Our toilets flush backwards, rofl!

  • that was totally lame, dude. You shouldn't even have bothered to make this vid in the first place

  • You're doing a pretty darn good job, you just need to be a bit more relaxed.

  • lol! this is wonderful! I live in Los Angeles, California. So it is really hilarious to hear your speech and "cultural" impression of us. Thanks :)

  • Nice Job, sounds realistic

  • lol.

  • lol our toilets flush backwards!lololol thats funny

  • Lol I find it funny that people are talking like Dustin's actually Australian or whatever....he's american! lol

  • Lol I never knew people thought Americans had funny accents

  • HAHAHA! USA USA USA!

  • wat to us YOU drive on the wrong side of the road, YOU talk in a funny accent and apperently (i didnt know this really mattered in life, but watever) YOUR toilets flush backwards...

  • @dreamer12905 if it dosent matter why are even acknowlegeing it ....wow...good try though

  • @rkyra2sexi cuz rasims and snobby ppl who think their better then others annoy me. really? y ELES do u think id reply? cuz i think its SO MUCH FREAKIN FUN!!! YAAAAY! no.

  • lol to us yall drive on the wrong side of the road and yall toilets flush backwards.....lol and we think every other accent is funny even some of our own like anyone not from cali hates there valley girl accent its fucking annoying ... most americans speak with a very simple accent .....and ps none in america actually gose "USA USA "

  • @rkyra2sexi crap wrong video again... i forgot wat i put sorry. but im an american im living in the usa right now was born here so we r in violent agreement. lol

  • good job! great American accent.

  • AMERICANS HAVE ACCENTS OK!!!!!!

Just like Australia, UK, Asia ect....WE ALL HAVE ACCENTS...!!!!

  • americans dont have accents wth? we speak normal BTW i love british accents espacially from girls

  • I wouldn't say that you butchered the accent. Over all, it wasn't bad.

  • your accent is not very bad at all.. you probably will enunciate better than most americans, haha.

  • A reasonably good facsimile of a standard, non-geographically-specific American accent. It would work best in California or the Pacific Northwest.

  • You sir drive on the left, which is the wrong side of the road... son

  • We have funny accents? WHAAAT? Everyone who tries doing an American "accent" sounds like robots!! Aha!!!! I love it! :D

    I feel so dumb..

  • crikey mate!

  • lolololololol hahaha

  • YOU drive on the wrong side of the roads!

  • Well, americans think accents are totally awsome, so you are more likely to fit in if you don't fake ours.

And yours is forced and choppy and still slightly wavey.

And my toilett is just fine! I like watching the poop go that way.

  • pretty good! I'm impressed!

  • you speak in a monotone toilets flush the same and yeah we do drive on the other side of the road but it's not wrong because the whole country does it

  • Comment removed

  • Haha good twist on the video. This guy is american from the start. He's really faking the Aussie accent. Love it

  • fuck you faggot buttercrap scumbag son of a ill pig monkey shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That's pretty good, especially on "California" and "America". A bit nasal on "My name is Dusitn," with a hint of "Moi nyme is Dust-in," keep the "o" out of your "i's" and the "i's" out of your "a's,' and don't pronounce the "i" in the 2nd syllable of your name, go right from "Dust" to "n" and make sure the "u" is flat with no "oo" (as in "foot"). But you're a natural and will sound like a native if you move here. Guys your age talk very slowly here.

  • @luvdomus lol he's from America... he says so in his description and if you watch hes other videos he's obviously from here :)

  • @jasmo23 D'oh!

  • TENNESSE!!!!!!

  • thats real funny u think our accent is weird well i think your accent is weird and we come from different places so obviously we would think that and america fucking rocks so u can suck it!

  • √∫∫∫∫∫∫œ∑´∂ƒ©ç√∫≈ç√˙∂∆∂©˙≈≈ç∫ç√∫ÍÏ˛Îƒƒ©˙ƒ©˙åß´∂ƒ®©çƒ©˙©∆∂©˙∆americans dont have accents thats only british

  • ...Are you retarded? Or is that a joke....or something?

  • california... what a very specific place....

  • That was actually a good american accent. (coming from an american)

    You just sounded slow.

I was not aware that people thought of us as having a funny accent.

    Good to know.

  • USA! USA! USA! hahahhahaha

  • fuck california...Colorado is the way to go!!!!! that was pretty good though haha

  • @deadsexy10207

only two good things came from colorado: south park and 3oh!3

  • You should do an chinese accent "2 DOLLA! 2 DOLLA! :D" or japanese "AWUAAAHHH yuki-chan KAWAIII"

    jk

  • You should asian accent "2 dolla 2 dolla :D"

    jk

  • <333

    That was awesome

  • yay awesome hope your enjoying the states

  • Comment removed

  • @sodapopbottletop

    No we really don't.

  • Wow, that sounded pretty normal for his American accent haha... Being american, I have no idea what one actually sounds like though.

  • "...Because we drive on the wrong side of the road..."

    LOL

C'mon, we have to be backwards from everybody, right?

  • Hey, your american accent wasn't bad at all!

  • ha u think we drive on the wrong side of the road! lol! idk this is just funny. and u think we have funny accents? haaaaa im sorry, that us just entertaining :)

  • Lol your voice is very relaxing.

  • You should stick with your original accent. You sound like a fascinating person with your original accent, whereas when attempting American, you succeed somewhat, but mostly just sound like a huge nerd ;)

  • wow is american accents that hard?i never noticed becuase im american, but for me its hard doind other countries acents.btw ice job dude,no one would know the diffrence

  • u killed it with the USA USA USA at the end lmao

  • you drive on the wrong side of the road!

  • hah! that was actually pretty good!

like i never would have guessed you weren't from America.

i think australian accents aren't all that different from ours though.

  • i have a question... why do all foreign people call america "the states"? we just call it america or the u.s. idk just wondering...

  • because America is technically a continent, as prior to the panama canal, north and south america where one gigantic landmass. in fact in the spanish speaking American countries, school teaches that the Americas are one continent, so should they ever hear any of our president say "god bless America" many people in latin america will assume he is talking about the continent(s) not just the U.S.A.

  • @lyricful101 thats a good question! but he did call ur america once in the video

  • @lyricful101 Because America is a continent. The US or the states is unambiguous.

  • @jobloe3393 well why do you call us american? you don't call mexicans american do you?

  • @palmer0700 If we were talking about people from the continent of America we would refer to them as Americans. Just like people from France can be considered Eurasian as well as European. It should also be noted that people from latin America do not call you Americans. The reason we call you americans in English is from your influence on the matter. That said, I don't have a problem with the terms America and Americans being used for the US, but some latin Americans do.

  • @lyricful101 I'm canadian and I call it the states sometiems too.

    case you are the states....

    lol

  • @lyricful101 because america is a the whole continet , not just your country. In order to differentiate from canada middle and latin america. That's people often call it the states, because they are the united states of america or the us but it is also very often that they are being called america

  • @lyricful101 maybe because Americas is a continent not a country

a brazilian ,canadian , argentinian etc could call themselves american aswell

so these south american countrys and canadians thank you for all the god bless america bs

  • @lyricful101 hahaa dude ur totally right.. i wouldnt have noticed it if i dint read ur comment.. i call it the 'states' too :P guess that could be changed.. :D

  • @lyricful101 mabe its because of your 51 states witch make america?? im a brit btw and i dont no why i call america the states, i see it as an nick name i guess, my reason why :)

  • @adamsisi There are only 51 states.

  • @eezepeeze Puerto Rico ain't a state yet :O

  • @PLURIC Yes, I see now that i typed 51 instead of 50. For the longest time after reading your comment I was like "Duh, I know that". But now I see my error. Yes, I know that there are only FIFTY states.

  • @adamsisi lmao 51 states? there are only 50...

  • @lyricful101

When you go abroad you also start calling them the states because its just easier\faster\everyone else around you says the states...haha

  • @lyricful101 It's because South America is also "America". :]

  • @lyricful101 because the word america(s) reffers to the 2 continents and had nothing to do with the united states. Your are not more American than mexicans or brazilians, you are united staters( loll i know it sounds horrible loll no offense) that's probably why you guys started to call yourselves americans.

  • If you dont appreciate america and its awesomeness dont fuckin come

  • Hahaha, not bad. You should stick to your Australian [normal] accent though, I love that one. :)

  • at the beginning it was pretty awful... but once you started to talk faster, it was really good.

    haha nice job :)

  • Hey Americans ALWAYS drive on the right

no matter where we are even if it's not right.

  • That was rad....

  • no YOUR toilets are wrong!

ok accent, but an Australian one will get you laid quicker.

  • thats actually a pretty good accent

  • Hahaha the way u said California was pretty funny and according to us you guys drive on the wrong side of the road. Lol

  • That was pretty good! You'll do well here in Cali!

  • i doubt anyone will give you a bad time, lots of friends and family in california. but, you pulled it off. although whenever i hear people chant USA it's usually yelled. hahaha. sweet.

  • very nice dood. sounds quite authentic.

  • @armanys2003

...sorry but i have to say it or in this case spell it, it's spelled "dude" not "dood". okay I'm done bye lol...

  • lol it's okay. Just drink some hot tea dood. I really don't know if you are aware of existence of different varieties of the pronunciation for the word in question. Particularly, me writing 'dood' implied certain meaning/flavor and would be understood by the intended audience. Dude is the word, 'dood' is how it's pronounced sometimes with accent, or even to some extent irony/humor/sarcasm for purposes of self exclusion from the group who uses the word regularly.

  • really? honestly? this wasn't you doing an impression of a foreigner doing an american accent?

  • Hahaha Try out GENERAL AMERICAN, everyone wanna do Valley girl Cali-accent. haha With GENERAL AMERICAN you'll sound NORMAL.

Hell im CANADIAN and i speak GENERAL AMERICAN hahaha

  • Hey! Don't insult our toilets!

  • haha this made me laugh. Im from Colorado xD

  • Lmao, hilarious. You actually did sound like one of us.

  • I've been watching alot of people attempting to do our American accent, this is by far the most funny one yet..... USA USA USA~! haha

  • Faggot.

  • I'm so confused.... :|

  • "America is awesome because we drive on the wrong side of the road, our toilets flush backwards, and we have funny accents. USA! USA! USA!"

I laughed my ass off. Your American accent is very good.
