@alex77781 Don't know about that maybe two different experiences but I am sure that on my vacation there were pot roaches everywhere and you are right that was an over exaggeration of the percent but I also know that there was a major Aids/HIV+ epidemic over there in the early 90's since then they have decreased the over all percentile but it is heavily prone in African Americans and knowing for a fact that a Rastafarian tried to offer me his wife for a night, for my Rolex

@delerious08 I've been before just stay on your resort and listen to what your airplane attendants say and in the case they don't say it don't have sex with anyone something like 90% of people have aids over there.. Oh and also don't trust anyone that says lets go to my room that is Jamaican they will try to sale you crack. Pot Roaches are everywhere but it will be the most exciting/breathe taking vacation of your life..... Go to the Dunns River Falls and the Bob Marley Museum & JamaicaMeCrazy

This Hotel is a dump to put it mildly. The decor is aged,mildew in the bathroom ,oh I could go on,they run out of ice ,no bottled water. Told by staff to walk to the local shops to get water. This hotel needs to be closed and refurbished and staff hired who actually give a damn! There are much better hotels on offer in Ocho Rios !

Nice place for the price but this is a place to stay if you have no knowledge of the island and are going to stay mostly here. Food service times are a bit weird, no late night food, so you better get full at dinner. The drinks suck. I did enjoy my stay here, but next time, I will stay in the country with family!

they stole my iPhone from my room the last night i was there

you cant get anything to eat or drink after 3AM...NOT EVEN A SODA.

all they try to do is get money out of you and they grab you by the arm on the streets and the beach ON THE RESORT and try to sell you shells for 20 dollars and drugs.

pools were nice BUT you cant even get a drink with vodka...its all rum and when you ask for a shot they give you an attitude.
