@claytonm2 It was likely on the table. That map starts with 1 melee weapon on the table. Theres another spawn spot for weapons in the room up the ramp by the semi truck in the road, could have been there too.

Some people do, somehow I don't. Then again, I didn't find Diablo 2 boring even though I ran the same bosses over and over. The fun part about Left 4 Dead 2 is versus mode, trying to get your good team of infected to beat their team, then try and counter their attacks as survivors. Versus mode WITH FRIENDS is the funnest part, its just hard to find 3 great players you can rely on. Versus mode with random players is pretty bad cause some people just suck amazingly bad.

The demo is open to the public, I highly suggest checking it out (X360 or PC). L4D isn't for everyone I guess, but graphics aren't everything either.

The first and second chapters of The Parish are all you can play in the demo. Theres 5 total campaigns in the full game and 4 of them have 5 chapters each.

The one campaign with 4 chapters supposedly has longer chapters, thats supposed to be it's unique feature I guess. Longer chapters will make it a much harder campaign for versus =D

Everytime I got swarmed by zombies in the first one, I thought to myself "I really need a sword." I'm so glad that Valve heard my prayers. Whenever a horde is charging for me, I unload my gun at them, and then switch to my machete; the results of that are incredible. You gies will probably think I'm screwing with you, but the machete is the best anti-tank weapon. I've dominated 2 tanks on advanced with a machete; you have to go for its back when it's chasing someone else. >:-)

It's only effective if the enemy is coming from one direction, else you'll get circled and take unnecessary damage, then you gotta add in all the friendly fire you'll take for running up front.

Melee should really be used defensively, but with bots that can't friendly fire I figured i'd go massacre some zombies :)
