$110.00 to see "Wishful Drinking"? Wow!! I saw it at the Berkeley Rep for $15.00 (discount school rate) in March 2008 . I wonder how much Green Day's "American Idiot" will be? I saw it at the Berkeley Rep in September for $45.00. It's probably going to over $100.00. Now that show is definitely worth seeing!
haha, its a good show - you will enjoy. Maybe you should have hopped the express to DC to catch it at arena stage last year. wasnt so pricey here. but great fun!!
Of course, Peter Cox's voice on the real song is incomparable - but the parody here of the mannerisms are still lots of fun. The video for "King of Wishful Thinking" is so crazily wild and ripe for parody, so I'd love to see what you do as a parody of it, since you seem to be calling this an audio preview. Would you be allowed to put Star Wars- like characters in it since it's parody, i wonder.
I guess we're so used to Broadway ticket prices that we didn't blink at the $111.25 price for the really best seats - that's kind of scary, isn't it? And what the heck is that extra $1.25 facility charge on top of the $110 price for, anyway?
