  • THANKS FROM BRAZIL!!! BOB DYLAN!!! THE COMPOSER EVER!!

  • is the G chord a four finger one with the b and high e string held down ?

  • your super good man! keep it up

  • Thanks dude, love your voice! I'm gonna work on this!

  • btw, for all those wondering, it's Cb as in C Flat, not C-B just for those wondering

  • Not good.

  • beatiful voice, you're great...

now try to sing knoking on heaven's door... :D

  • is*

  • is*

  • This isn't the best sequence to play and sing! If you want the best chords tell me!

  • thankyou, i managed to work it out myself with ur help, and ur voice is awesome, but u didnt say wat fret the capo was on, or how to play the wierd B/C chord.........

  • Comment removed

  • @emtherem looks like 7th fret :) and as for the 'weird' chord, just stick ur middle finger on the 2nd string 2nd fret (taking ur third finger off the 3rd fret obv - hope that helps :)

  • i dont even think you said what fret the capo is on... cool vocals, bro.

  • great now show me the fucking strum pattern

  • @liamrocksmysockstm if you cant figure out the strum pattern for this SUPER easy beginner song....than maybe you should fuck off

  • nice.....

  • @88sgtpepper STUPID ¡¡

  • blowin in the winds

  • the best version i ever seen anybody play,u r good

  • What did you hock up to your guitar???? That black thing?????

  • @BubiDavid its a capo it changes the octave

  • the first time i reallly understand how to play...many many manymanymany thanks for that !!!!!!

big kisses from good ol´ Germany

  • Wrong lyrics but good job

  • @wolf77productions... This is written and performed by Dylan originally. A lot of bands and singers did covers.

  • im not meaning to judge but i think it was by a diffrent band and bob dylan did a cover on it, i might be wrong. but i loved the video.

  • @wolf77productions nah dylan wrote it ;)

  • @wolf77productions Seriously?!?!? Did you happen to notice Dylan is a genius songwriter? People cover him not the way around. Your comment actually makes me angry!

  • Great job!!

  • toca muito, great!

  • nice playing man, but you really fucked up the lyrics o_0

  • Can you or someone give me the tab for the C/B chord? I can't figure it out

  • @rockcherub123456789

We would know the answer only if there were some kind of INTER-connected-NET-work where people shared information like that.

  • @yexey Ummm don't you think i've tried that already? it didn't show anything that sounded right. that's why i'm asking.

  • @rockcherub123456789 i play it like x20010 and it fits nicely :D

  • hoooooo ... maiS você toca muito, parabéns ¨*¨*¨*¨*¨*¨*

  • very beautiful ..

  • u r a boss this is the perfect way to teach

  • played with no capo and he use a dylan c or dc cord watch concert for bangladesh ihave a hard time w the rhythum u can watch him play every song

  • Good video, but way to fuck up the lyrics!

  • good video man..

  • good shit man I like this alot and I can do play the whole song!

  • good video man.. i learned this song in like 10 minutes haha.. im kind of a beginner. but it's "how many times can a man turn his head, pretending he just doesn't see." juss sayin'

  • Hey, does anyone know the tab of the "CB chord" he reefers to? I can't make it out on the video.

  • @BlueSilkSwordFTW

    C/B:

    e 0

    B 1

    G 0

    D 2

    A 2

    E 0

same as C maj, except you take a step down on the A string

  • Thanks 31974, I had almost lost hope that anyone would help me out with that. Much thanks, much thanks.

  • no worries mate. i don't know how good a player you are but you can usually work out a lot of chords just by dicking around on your guitar.

  • good singer :)

  • he is a good teacher but not a good singer, come on he sings like a little child

  • i really love it!!!! this is my favorite song

    Thanks for your song XD

Who's playing??? for me is very good

  • Sorry, I mean the left hand, the strumming...

  • what is the right hand technique?

  • Great tutorial. But Dylan does actually not play the highest e-string in this song. I think it sounds better that way too. What I sometimes do when playing this song, is to mute high e-string with some blu-tack on the string, near the bridge. That way I don't have to slow down the strumming to avoid the e-string.

  • I love this song!

If you have a minute, could you go to:

'Gavin Lazarus - Blunder' (copy & paste this to search) and give an honest opinion of this original song? It would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

  • thanks for the info, easy to play now and good tutorial...thanks

  • whats the tuning and where does the capo go?

basic setup would have helped this vid.

  • standard tuning, capo 7th fret.

  • Can you please tell me the fingering of your C/D Chord?

  • Some errors :) :) :)

  • Thanks man, like all good teaching, nice simple and clear to understand.

  • You look like that guy from That 70's Show...

  • You mean Eric, the dork. lol Sorta

  • well with all got ears aint we im mean that aint the hardest strumming pattern in the world now is it

  • STRUMMING ???!!

  • and what's about the stroking?

  • thanks alot for teh videos man i just learned tambourine man and this song in one sitting thanks to you! nice voice too

  • why dont u just play

A--D--A -----D -----E its good enough and nearly perfect anyway can u play harmonica as well

  • ya. that's what i'm playin too.

  • nice version.

  • Fantastic leasson. Great Help :) Thaks

  • you can better play the guitar then sing

  • you are great guitar player, can you tell me what model of guitar do you have

    5 stars

  • hey what the capo

  • I play it in the C shape with a capo at the 2nd fret and add an Am into the chorus

  • Comment removed

  • could you show the strumming pattern or describe in your next videos.

    Great help thanks!

  • I love this! Keep it up and thanks.

  • wuts the strumming\

  • something like D - DU - U - DU

  • sound like zach braff

    cheers

    go vegAN

  • this is awsome! I know the first two parts are right but on the third part of the first verse he changes to D quick on the word cannonball then back to G on fire.

  • great lesson but strumming pattern please

  • This is lovely, thank you.[:

  • FWTF IS CD CHORD IDIOT

  • Whats the difference... ???

  • i learned to make the chords, but i need to see the way u move your right hand

  • I think he is using something like bass note then D DUDU but I am not sure exactly. It sounds good like that tho

  • Comment removed

  • dude , you're amazing ,

you play so well , that was realy helpful thanks for that.

    Take care x

  • Thanks Shell,

I am going to try and get a new video up this month, it's been a while.

  • Please do!

Lay down your weary tune would be an interesting one.

Looking forward to your next video.

  • AAAAAAAAAAH! i dont know if you did it on purpose but the lyrics are different in so many places.

you play and sing great i just dont know why anyone would change bob dylan lyrics. they were perfect the first time around

=] great video though, i learned a lot!

  • i would love to bum you so badly, i luv ur songs... i have masterbated several times tonight over your vids, i will deffo save you... can i get ur e-mail addy? xxx

  • Comment removed

  • can you please show the strumming pattern, i would really appreciate it, take care xx

  • great stuff fella nice1 :)

  • hes juust playing it in another key i guess.

  • I can remember when I was 10 years old with this beautyful song WOW! thanks 4 the lesson *****

  • mental dude...........just unreal.....well done

  • Awesome man! Another great vid! Watched your Tambourine man one as well!

    Thanks!

  • f*ck this ima go lvl my warrior

  • bahaha

  • Nice! That sounds good, and I'm a beginner. Maybe I could learn this? :P,

Anyway, thanks for posting this! :)

  • why there is no capo at the original playing at bob dylan videos?

  • Can you teach how to play the rhythm, I can follow the notes but need help ont e other side..

  • hum I need a capo

  • whats a cb chord?

  • your missing a crucial D at the end of each verse. other than that nice

  • Nice lesson! The song is my favorite. Thank you from Japan =]

  • bravo!

  • This is such a great song and it's fairly easy to play, isn't it? It would be nice if I could see your right hand too though, so I can see how you strum (I'm a beginner).

  • donde vergas tienes el capo cabron por k suena tan vergas pudrete pinche gringo de mierda ni mereses kantar rolas de dylan con tu pinche bos de pito

  • hahahaha no mms, lo tiene en el septimo trasto y si canta bien we xD

  • Pretty good playing, not sure if the chord sequence is right though, your playing the shapes as : G, C, C/B, G...when it actually sounds more like the tune with : G, C, C/B, D, G...then on second verse it goes to G, C, C/B, G with a hammer down on the low D.

  • amazing

  • Thanks man! Great video.

  • great lesson

  • i think this is a really good video, and it helped me a lot... but i don't know when it's up or when it's down, or how many times i keep the same chord... i'm still in the beginning of guitar lessons :b can u tell me please?

  • dont get too stuck with ups-downs etc. i used to do the same thing still such time i relaized - listen to the tune and start strumming along without worrying to much abt the patterns. you'll see it will come naturally if u keep listening to it. it will sound better to (nt mechanical).

  • thanks (:

  • your voice sounds like zach braff! ^^... great lesson!

  • good job

  • cool, i havent got it down yet, but this will be the first song i play on guitar, when i can play it

  • good break down very nicely done but of course i know ur probably tired of hearing it but did u put the capo for the sound u like or just forgot

either way very nice break down good vid

  • whats the capo there for. he plays it open. but good video still. sounds good

  • ? if he plays it open then u need a capo man...

  • On the original studio recording (that one from The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan), Bob Dylan plays it with capo on 7th fret, like in this video.

  • ok ok. i believe you. all the live versions live seen him play just normal major chords without a capo. but yeah your right now i think back to the sound of the recording. its played higher up. personally i like them the way he played them live. but like i said before good video still

  • He has the capo there to get the song into a key that suites his voice...

  • If you don't wanna play it with the capo the main chords are D, G, and A.

  • Thank you my brother!

  • He Reminds me of jason Castro He sounds like him. great singing

  • lol, no he really doesnt

  • Good instruction vid, but your missing out the D/A to D chords before the change to G at the start of each verse.

  • wonderful amigo

  • good lesson man you play it wonderful, but maybe next time could you show us the strumming?

  • Hello is there someone who can put the totality of the song!, is it like that ? G C C/B G G G G C C/B G G G C D G C C C D G and after back to the first G C C/B G
  • Nicely explained and well played. Cant wait for the next lesson.

  • Thanks a ton

  • your C/B chord has a D in it... is that how he plays it or something?

  • wow man that was awesome..... explain kinda b chord anyway... good job dude

  • went to th website - its not there?

Also what is the strumming pattern on the right hand?

  • hey! when's the website coming!!?

  • Awesome tutorial. Looking forward to your next video. Rock on!

  • your awesome at guitar!! not so awesome at singing..-_-

  • Hi, sounds very nice. Could you also show what´s going on with your right hand? When can we see your web page? Good stuff-keep going!!!

  • Can someone explain to me that 'wierd c-b chord' - it's confusing

  • C/B:

    e---

    b-1-

    g-0-

    d-0-

    a-2-

    e---

  • can u teach us how to play along the watch tower? Anyways thx!

  • awesome :D i can't wait for other videos to come. i already knew blowin in teh wind just the way you played it and i should go study mr tambourine man...

I wonder what song you chose next

    Thanks

  • Where is the website?

  • Very nice.

  • nice vid but as a newbie a strumming pattern would be very useful.

  • play the base string then a 8 note strum base 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 base

  • think i understand what you mean but dont sound right when i play it. on the count of 1+2+3+4 does the bass string count on the 1? or do you play bass, then 1+2+3+4 bass 1+2+3+4 bass 1+

  • yea play it like that but there is no golden rule play it with or without the base string

  • is the a aria amb75 because if it is i have the same one!

  • That guitar is a Takamine. I've had it for about 6 years and for a reasonably priced instrument it's exceeded my expectations.

  • mine looks justtttttttttt like it but ok..

  • Is it much harder to play this with no capo?

  • I prefer the way it sounds with the capo when it's just a solo acoustic. I belive the "freewheelin'" recording is played with a capo, but I've seen it done without too. To answer your question it's not a hard song to play either way.

  • hey wuts the weird chord?

  • C/B:

    e---

    b-1-

    g-0-

    d-0-

    a-2-

    e---

  • awesom:D It sound great, but please show your right hand to :P

  • awesome, please continue to post more
