  • Yeah! you tell them John!! :)

  • i wish i had a tomahawk

  • Hit em with a little ghetto gospel :D

  • his use of the minor pentatonic is awesome.

  • Elton John and Bernie Taupin are one of the best musical partnerships there has ever been. This song blows me away. The fact that EJ can perfectly express the meaning of BT's words through his piano is, imo, no coincidence.

  • @jfrr62 they both play piano... That's about it. The music is completely different, what are you talking about haha

  • If one ounce of Reggies talent slipped into me, well, certainly we're all better for it, wow!

  • Notice the way he speaks with the hint of an American accent at the end haha

  • Live is better cause the power of his voice is not compressed down

  • someone have a tutorial for to play this beautiful song???

  • The best song on the "Madman". I had to go to England to get this album, cos here in Germany I never found it. Strange,- but I think that´s what real fans do...

  • My favourite song of elton john

  • I'd go gay for this guy. <3

  • I meant the similarities ARE obvious.

  • I know Elton John and Billy Joel are friends and have toured together, but I'm continually amazed by how much of Madman Across the Water and Tumbleweed Connection Joel plundered for his early sound and themes. Captain Jack quotes liberally from the intro to Levon, and listening to Indian Sunset, I'm reminded of how much Joel took of this to create The Ballad of Billy the Kid. Billy Joel fans, I'm not saying it's a complete ripoff, so calm down, but the similarities age obvious.

  • @jfrr62 Elton himself said Joel ripped him off back in the day,and i remember as a kid first hearing Joel and saying who is this Elton rip off?

  • Not bad for a faggot

  • @dave5711able HA HA

  • @dave5711able Your a useless tornedo

  • @dave5711able haha

  • Why would some sad individual look up Elton John, watch Indian Sunset (possibly the greatest song ever written), and dislike it!!!??

  • ...........amazing..............simply~ amazing!

  • cannot get over this masterpiece. this is just about as moving and stunningly beautiful as music can get.

  • awesome

  • This is amazing. <3 Elton You are Amazing!

  • Simply, perfectly, beautiful.

  • 5:14 when you see his eyes through his glasses, thats the best part.

  • This was Elton John's greatest masterpiece.....Elton has incredible depth of understanding and soul. We need more artists like Elton John and less of the continuous bullshit propaganda that is Hollywood. Thanks to Elton for setting the standard.

  • Remarkable! What a true tale he tells, this Sir Elton figure. :)

  • A true unknown gem that very few folks know about. He performs with such passion and Bernie's lyrics have such meaning you can't help but be drawn into the story and performance.

  • @ captaingoatbeard.. i hear you! i feel the same. but on the other hand i think of all the people discovering elton john..like me when i was 18! heard "rocketman",bought a greatest hits then... Boom! that was me hooked..you buy another album then the same happens again...when you found an elton album in a music shop you didnt have its a great feeling.just as well elton has loads of albums!

  • @1979RMD Exact same happen to me!

  • 410 people.....who understand the world how it should be.......millions who will never understand..??

"Only when the last tree has died...and the last river has been poisoned.....and the last fish has been caught............ will we realize that we can't eat money.....oh so true

  • @leemuz73 Lol when did he say that?

  • @ajpianoman1 He didn't. It's a Cree Indian proverb.

  • @jjobie Oh! I see.

  • I raped the replay button

  • Love the fact that there's no dislikes <3

  • ... I can't find a home

  • One of the most poignant, haunting songs ever written or sung.Elton emotes the raw emotion that the subject deserves. Amazing talent and song.

  • Brilliant lyrics....Bernie Taupin.....sung perfectly by sir Elton John

  • my favourite EJ song of all time.

  • @Danibears Haha! I know. Elton usually gets all the lyrics right:)

  • @Danibears

    hahaha wtf? seriously?

  • BRILLIANT

  • exhilarating

  • i listen to this song atleast 1 time a day is that a problem

  • @coreytellne1 it'll be a problem if you or I stop listening to it lol.

  • @coreytellne1 YES. YOU SHOULD LISTSEN AT LEAST 2x per DAY

  • @coreytellne1 nope

  • 410 views?! What's wrong with the world? Probably the most beautiful and haunting songs ever, yet the masses would rather plug their ears with easily forgettable filler. (sighs)

  • purely talented

  • Thanks, bdpittman. I bought the Madman Across the Water in LP. Brilliant. Super talented pianist and singer.
