In the state of ohio, If you call a cop a name, they CAN arrest you.... obviously this holds true in arkansas the video is proof of that... disorderly conduct is one of those "catch all" charges. Like I said earlier in this post, if he thought there was a problem with the way they treated the woman, he should have waited until they were done, then approached the woman to see what the story was. If SHE felt they had done anything wrong, he could have been a witness. HE was wrong.

Jonesboro Police Department are the most crocked department in the state. Every since Mike Yates took over as Chief ..it has went down hill. Perfect example...I was driving down Caraway Road at 4:17am going to work, and a cop pulled me over in my workplace parking lot and went through all of the ropes (drivers lic, insurance, checked my car, etc)...and nothing. Two days later, I was at a red light, and a cop was texting while driving. I called in, and amazingly, I got a ticket the next day

His treatment of the police was disrespectful, but NOT illegal. He was exercising his right to free speech, on his own property. They had no reasonable suspicion to believe that a crime had been committed, and therefore had no right to ask for his "papers."
They were trespassing, and should have left the second he asked them to. They violated his 1st and 4th Amendment rights; then arrested him for no reason, proving themselves to be the Nazis he claimed. How did this play out in court. Anyone?

But if more citizens used their freedom to speak out against dysfunctional police behaviour, the result could be that got the retraining they need to learn to mitigate and not stage conflicts. Government officials should learn to behave with humility, restraint and dignity, when wielding government power.

I support the Police, they were civil with the man. He chose to be belligerent, and has to pay the consequences. If a Judge finds he has a mental condition, then that may mitigate his ruling, and should affect future dealings with the Law. In other words, Officers may cut him some slack in the future.
