@lancetop its on the border with queens, and the worst part of queens, it depends on what part of VS your in, one min its all safe and nice, the next block your in a slum

@SGTS1MMONS Actually (going from west to east) It's Queens, Rosedale, Valley Stream, and Lynbrook. Slums aren't prevalent in Valley Stream at all, and it's actually a nice neighborhood.

Yeah ... it's a valuable film because it's not the usual thing.

I think, in a certain way, given the setting at its beginning (Valley Stream, NY), maybe the real topic of the film is boredom in the suburbs. Just a thought.

I saw this movie years ago and it really disturbed me. The murder scenes were almost too real. And the fact that the leading "lady" is a fat bitch is almost too real. Definitely not the usual Hollywood "product."

Too bad half of this doesn't play. Thanks for posting. This movie was shown here in France a few years ago and we were lucky to catch it. The print was in bad shape, or rather, the copy had been made from something very damaged. A nearly lost treasure.

Valley Stream doesn't look so bad to me. Was there ever a more attractive couple than Ray & Martha? Sure they had their quirks...but don't we all? But I admit I would hide all the hammers if I had dinner at their house...

lol I love this movie! By the time they bashed her with the hammer I didn't feel all that bad for her. She was sooo annoying "The pork chop is a better buy..." She was stupid to go with them anyway without knowing them in the first place lol
