Gay is coming on into nice shape considering his condition last season. They say bolt isn't in peak shape yet. Hope fully by mid season both of these titans will be 100%. Just cant wait to see what Tyson can do in the 100 meters. Powell was so dissapointing yesterday. Bolt will get a run for his money in Berlin. 200 meters all the way.
this was an impressive run by Tyson gay he's shaping up nicely for Berlin Its nice to see that he will give usain bolt a run for his money but i still think he has more work to do he ran a 19.58 with 1.3+ tailwind usain did 19.30 with -0.9 headwind either way you can't judge it by whats on the paper it comes down to who performs better at the the championships
You can't compare a time run in different races under different conditions. Sprint races are won by flesh and blood confrontations, not what it says on paper. Estimate all you want, you'll only ever get an answer when they race each other.
whilst 19.58 is still a long way off an olympic 19.3 which comes after heats and semis and other events....its still a fantastic performance considering its the first run of the year. Hopefully Gay will go low 19.4s and maybe even in the 3s and we'll see 200m into a new era of sub 19.5 being the new "20 seconds"...
